The parking restrictions for motorhomes became active on 1st May, all regulars will have already had a leaflet from us and read the signs at the beach - for those who haven’t, please be aware that we are limiting MOTORHOME parking to just one area of the Carpark (please see map) - once this area is full we will have no more room and therefore any motorhomes will be turned away. We also have no room for long wheel based or any motorhome with more than two axles. I would recommend you have an alternative planned.
The restrictions do not apply to small campervans (the size of a VW transporter etc)
Maximum size 7 metres

Thanks,
£10 overnight charge 6pm - 9am
£5 daytime charge 9am - 6pm
max stay 2 nights

Have stayed here three times now, you have to remember that it is just a gravel carpark with some old public toilet’s.
But it is a stunning location, pay your £10 in the Cafe and they give you a sticker for your window. The Cafe is great with lovely staff, in season you have a large tepee with bar, live music on some weekend’s wood fire pizza shack. The whole place has a real community feel. Stunning beach with direct access to the coastal path 40min walk to Moelfre. Love it, Love it, Love it ❤️????

Fantastic stop over ok up to 2 nights. Toilet block and some did empty their waste there but we did not use it. Car park right on the beach with a fabulous view of the bay. Beautiful beach, busy car park in the day with a cafe and bar. Live entertainment at weekend sometimes. Narrow road in parts to get down there but ok with a 7m motorhome with care. Nice walks over to Moelfre. £10 a night did not charge for day to park at the back in marked spaces and there was a security van overnight.

Spent a night here on in 55 mph gales. Great location, fab people sheltering in the cafe. Site pretty level - needed chocks. Will definitely visit again. More than happy to pay £10 for a night of bliss.

As stated in other reviews it is a large rough car park with a cafe which is open at the owners discretion. There is a toilet block at the end of the car park although it is not too sanitary it is useable as a toilet block, no showers, there is a cold water tap in the gents which could be used to top off water tanks. There are great walks along the coastal paths and ancient monuments and sites to see.

Gravel car park with no services but right on the beach. Walks in both directions along the coast. We saw seals very close in, looked like they were feeding as many terns diving as well. Cafe only opens at weekends from September (we were there mid-week) and although a sign states that it is free parking during the day, the £10 overnight charge still applies. Well, we would have been willing to pay, but no one came along to collect, so a free night for ourselves and seven other vans.

Rough car park overlooking the bay, right on the beach. No facilities but great location. £10 overnight but after 9.00am it's another £5 to stay for the day, similarly if you arrive early afternoon. So can work out a bit pricey for a no facility location. But it is a great spot

Rough car park with no services. Arrive early or late to avoid day time traffic and get a good spot. Some places rougher than others. No services. Small cafe does breakfast and snacks through the day, but only opens weekends with any reliability. Pay £10 per night at cafe. In winter they may not turn up for the money but honesty is the best policy. Amazing beach with fabulous sands when the tide is out and beautiful sunrise right next door.

Visited on a surprisingly warm and sunny mid February day and was expecting a free wild camping location but was surprised to find it was a private pay and display car park with a £10 overnight charge. So we had a quick look on mapsme and saw another carpark just the other side of the dunes so we headed there but this was also owned by the same people and the same charges also applied but the sign on this one said specifically no overnighting. So after a quick walk on the beach we decided to go back to the main car park and pay the overnight charge. Had a lovely long walk across the beach. There is a toilet block in the car park and the guy in the cafe filled our water container for us so we could get a shower. Reasonable phone signal and managed to get a good BT With FON wifi signal. Access is via few narrow lanes which are fine if nothing coming the other way but if there is, hope they can reverse!
