What a lovely, clean, well laid out caravan park. Our concrete pitch, between grass was level with a quiet outlook of trees. The amenities were lovely with constant hot water (unlike the continuous push button we have experienced). There is a lovely path against the River Avon which we walked part way, up to The Boathouse (pub). Although there is a public bus service across the road, our group of 3 seniors opted for a taxi into Bath & the trip was not expensive & the driver knew where the place was.

We booked online for our stay to visit the Xmas Market, the site is very busy this time of year and all pitches are full, but it’s still very quiet, ok the odd vehicle passing but hey we are not in the countryside. All clean and tidy with nothing to grumble about. TV points on the pitch if you need it. Water points are well spaced out. It’s easy access to walk along the canal to Bath centre, or hire a bike from site using the nextbike website, then leave it at another bike station in town.

Quite a nice site, but very noisy mechanical digging up of the pitches right next to ours spoilt our enjoyment. We mentioned it but there wasn’t another pitch big enough for uus to move to, and the sound reverberated around the entire site anyway. They said we could have a credit for another night if we were to come back. Loos and showers OK but desperately need a lick of paint.

We rung this site about 5 times on our way to Bath and left a message but didn't get an answer. When we arrived we were told there wasn't a space for our van as it was over 6 metres, but we're welcome to check the spaces on the woodland bit. We found we were ok and weren't affecting next door so managed to stay. It's the only site convenient for Bath I think. Facilities are ok but portacabin style. Main problem for us where we were sited was road noise. Woken by noisy motorbike at 2am, a clattering lorry at 4am and general traffic at 6. Earplugs would be a bonus to have on the van!

Pleasant campsite, due to cul de sac layout it does not have the large site feel about it. Portacabin toilet/ shower blocks, very clean, plentiful hot water and a hairdryer.
Direct access to riverside footpath/cyclepath into town, 45 min walk. Small shop on site. 2 pubs close by accessed from footpath, both dog friendly. Already booked a return visit.

Stayed for two nights. Basic amenities site, showers and toilets are either an older building or a portacabin - however they are well maintained, clean but really hot showers that couldn't be adjusted! Handy for the bus (50 yards away) in to Bath. Would stay here again for a visit to Bath.

Some of the pitches are really small.

Mine was concrete with hedges on three sides and no grass. Othere have grass around them.

Pitches are all very close together, giving a crowded feel.

Reception were helpful, but not really interested in engaging with the customer.

While this site is handy for Bath, it isn’t a place I would want to return to.

A perfect spot for visiting Bath. Canal walk 45 mins. bus ride right outside campsite (or outside Sports Direct for the way back). £2.50 each way. Showers blocks are basic although clean and efficient. Great big pitches. Parking for reception is a bit tricky as the small visitors’ car park is very busy. For a visit to Bath this is perfect for a couple of nights. Would recommend.

Stayed a few times here and always been happy with it. Van 7.5m so not a problem with pitches but make sure you select the right one for your van if booking on line as availability changes depending upon van size.

Good cycling from the site including the rather good Two Tunnels Greenway up the old Somerset & Dorset railway line. Cycle into Bath or even to Bristol via another old railway line.

Would I come again, 100% yes.

Good city site all hard standing. Toilets and showers clean and warm.
Easy access to city via park & ride less than 5 min walk, or flat walk along canal 30+ mins.
We couldn't get signal on our TV but there are TV points if you have a long coax.(we bought DVDs from a charity shop in Bath).
Book in advance as it is a busy site even during winter.
Would stay again for its access to Bath.

What a great site! Located close to the River Avon and set amongst mature trees. Good hardstanding pitches for all.

For the energetic, just a couple of miles walk into the city of Bath or the Park & Ride or X39 Bus.

The city is a gem and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and stay at this great site.

Great place. Very handy for Bath and Bristol. Easy walk into Bath by the river - takes about 20 - 30 minutes or get the bus from nearby to Bath or Bristol. Would definitely go back, Pub nearby about 5 minutes walk away as well.

Mature site a short cycle ride from the city centre. There is also a nearby bus service. New toilet block in a portacabin and old toilet blocks modernised. Mostly quiet with some aircraft noise and minor road noise if on the road side of the site. Friendly staff and reasonable price. ACSI site.

Good site with nice helpful staff. New shower block being built to improve facilities with lots of hot water. Separate pitches for sub 6m vans are great for smaller units; go for the woodland area as quieter. A bit pricey but the convenience for Bath (buses and river path) more than makes up for it. Book in school holidays as it was packed full over the weekend.

Perfect location for visiting Bath. Site a bit basic but perfectly adequate for a short 3 night stay. Access to Bath is easy by 45 minute walk along the river or by bus. Stop within 5 minutes walk of site. Buses very frequent.

Site with an excellent location for Bath. Buses run from the nearby park & ride as well as regular locations on nearby roads. Staff very pleasant. Hard standing throughout the park. Site is a bit scruffy and the shower/loo facilities are really very tired.

An ideal spot for commuting into Bath, right opposite Newbridge P&R, and if you have bus passes you can travel into the city centre and back for free.
The site has hard standing of concrete, and many pitches are rather small if you have a larger unit. Some are longer, so check before parking up if you have a unit over 7 metres.

The facilities are clean, but I have seen better. The showers are warm enough, but you have to constantly hold the button in, and they are not over-large. It is a bit on the pricy side for what it is, but you are paying for good access to Bath. The Avon is alongside for walking, a bit of parkland alongside for dog walking and children's playground.

We almost didn't give this site a try as reviews on some sites are not that favourable. However, pleased to say that this served us very well for 2 nights in Feb 2017 and was ideal for purpose. All depends upon need and expectations but positives for us were a very warm and helpful welcome, all hardstanding, parking mostly level or at least easy to use levellers, on the edge of the city but still quiet, bang opposite the Newbridge Park & Ride to access Bath City centre (with pathway from site under the road, so very safe), children's playground area adjoining and lots of space, direct access to towpath and walk along river to Bath / Bristol, also joins national cycle route no 4 right next to site and excellent walking or cycle route again to Bath (2 1/2 miles or Bristol 13 1/2 miles). We had read complaints about showers and facilities (as recent as a few weeks ago) but we found everything to be immaculately clean and really don't know what else to expect! There is even a pub (The Boathouse) over the road and next to the P&R, should the fancy take you. Aesthetically, concrete hardstanding may not look the nicest - but, from a practical point of view, we were more than grateful and will certainly use this site again.

I would echo the comments by plasticbox but emphasise the excellent location for visiting Bath. I would add that the site lies between two major roads so there is quite a lot of traffic noise - but hey, it is a urban site!

This is a brilliant site to stay when you are visiting Bath; yes the amenities block are out dated but they are adequate; the site is clean, set in a lovely position by the Avon and only a short stroll to the Park & Ride which takes you directly into Bath every 15 minutes. The site itself is set amongst trees, pitches are hard standing and all have electric hook-up along with TV outlets (although I didn’t try the TV facility) I notice people have moaned about the cost of this site but in my opinion its convenient position and proximity to Bath easily outweighs it’s cost.

Plenty of room on site. Amenities block out dated. Dont think its worth the fee per night. Traffic round the area at rush hour a bit manic. Couldn't get all channels on freeview TV, Sat no problem. The location is good to see Bath, park & ride across from site. think that's what ups the price.

This site is close to the park and ride to Bath centre at Newbridge. The facilities are dated although it is kept clean and all pitches have hook-ups. It is well landscaped with hardstandings throughout although some are too small for large vans.
It is open all year and can be very busy before Christmas when Bath Christmas Markets are on.
