Great spot, it is in Peyre rather than Comprégnac. Short walk into the village.View all reviews by Whompee
A few miles outside Millau. The approach road is narrow and has a few tight turns. The Aire is a grassy carpark with trees. There is a children's play park and a toilet next to the aire, we did not try either. Great views of the bridge.View all reviews by scotscamperman
There is another wild camping spot near the bridge aire, which is easier to get to and does not have the problem of trees.
we arrived from the north route in 6.5 metre motorhomes.A bit tight and some steep downward twists and turns but low gear helped.A great stopover as stated previously with a great view of the bridge. If you,re into astrophotography and get a clear sky with no moon you,ll see the milky way quite clearly as per my milky way shot.View all reviews by mid4did
Great view of the viaduct. A lovely village just down the hill but no boulangerie :-( .There's a composting toilet although I didn't test it as well as toilets in the village. The aire was free when I was there.View all reviews by s1mon
A lovely stop over, above a very quaint village which is built into the cliff face. Everything was closed while we were there. Its not an Aire, its just a car park where we could only just manage to get our 7.5 meter between the trees. There is a toilet in the car park. We were the only van there, it was extremely dark and lonely but the views of the Millau Bridge were amazing. The sky too was clear and the starry sky was amazing in this dark spot. There were a few locals visited the car park on bikes and Quads, but they were gone before 9pm and we had a very wuiet night.View all reviews by ukbandit
No charge for this parking.
Absolute gem of a stop. You park amongst almond trees with beautiful views in all directions but will struggle if it's busy or you're much over 7.5m. The village is stunning, set into the rock face with panoramic views along the river to the bridge. There are a couple of restaurants which were closed when we visited on a Sunday.View all reviews by alanthornton
Lovely quiet spot with a spectacular view of the Millau Bridge (€12 to cross). Just above the tiny village of Peyre which is definitely worth a look round. It's most famous for its Troglodyte Church. Toilet at the site and in the village which is only 500 metres away.View all reviews by kevrowan
Small, quiet, slightly sloping gravel site, we are 7.3 metres and found the access roads from the north rather tight. at one point our rear overhang was completely hanging over a shear drop going around the hairpin bends on the D41. Access from the Millau direction much easier but not for anything larger. It was worth the drive for the fabulous view from this Aire. No facilities other than a composting toilet close by. Dog walking field next to Aire. Lovely walks down through the village of Peyre, very scenic with the river running along the bottom of the valley. Loved it so much here we stayed 2 days.View all reviews by mobie15
Very quiet parking. No water as council turned it off due to too many motor homes using it. Great view of the bridge. Narrow road to access it.View all reviews by whatton
Mixed free parking just above the charming little village of Peyre. No access to the parking through Peyre village, carry on towards Compregnac on the D41, then turn sharp right onto the Rte de Therondels up to the parking area. No facilities, just overnight parking and a spectacular view. Steep path down to Peyre village which is well worth exploring.View all reviews by peejay
