A truly disgusting 60s throwback. I appreciate it's out of season but this is what we found. No security, just drive up to the barriers in either direction and they open. Minimal/no lighting with the office only occasionally manned. No roof on the swimming pool which is closed as are the shop and cafe so no WiFi. Games room filthy and unusable, shower block appalling with black mould everywhere. An all pervasive air of dereliction with rubbish, equipment and building materials strewn about. This is truly the worst site I have used in many years.

Words fail me, filthy showers, unkept overgrown. Worst site in 30yrs of touring. Good views depend where your pitch is.

Arrived 6pm till 9.30am next day, was charged £25 even though middle Sept.

Cliff top site in old fort, level pitches, had back pitch with views over to Plymouth. Pretty level pitches, water and elsan nearby. Toilets/showers and laundry nearby, bit tired but ok. Showers nice and hot and clean. Bargain winter price of £10/night so no complaints. Steep walk down to beach but worth it. Surf school at the bottom. Cliff top cafe nice for an all day breakfast. Good but hard walk to Rame head to see the chapel. Pictures of beach and site added.

Set in an 1800s gun battery this site is very good. The swimming pool has just been refurbished and the Vaults restaurant and bars are lovely. The food is outstanding as are the views. This area is the "forgotten" part of Cornwall on the Rame peninsula and is well worth a visit. Bus service runs from right outside the site. Pitches have all the usual facilities.

Staff very friendly and helpful.
Level pitches scattered around the fort, great views from site as high up. 2 male and 2 female large shower cubicles with toilet in each. Extra toilets in separate block, dish washing and washing machine area.
Small shop for basics, so unless you’re taking your MH offsite, stock up on provisions, as no nearby shops.
Steep steps down to Whitsand Bay, fab walks on South West Coast path into Cawsand/Kingsand.
Bus every hour from just outside the site.
