Really nice, quiet site. Very well run, clean and tidy throughout. Large pitches. Short stroll to local pub and good general store. About a 2 mile walk to Shingle Street on mix of roads and footpaths. Will definitely be back soon.View all reviews by ajshotley
Lovely welcome at this immaculate site. Local pub up the road serves good food 6 to 8.30pm. Walked to shingle street beach, about 2 miles from the site on country lanes. Loads to do in the area, like a foot ferry to Felixstowe, so we will come back.View all reviews by carkey
Lovely, friendly, well kept site. Choice of pitches given. Stayed for one night, very quiet. Short walk to local pub and shop although not all on pavement and you need a torch in the winter. Will definitely make a return visit.View all reviews by nixe
Very friendly welcome. Booked by telephone and paid by card when booking. Stayed for 2 nights at the weekend and was offered a very nice grass pitch near the very good clean facilities in the first field. Quiet location, pub and village shop in walking distance. Good dog walking field with bins. I understand this may be adult only site now (check website). Would definitely return for another visit.View all reviews by clgtrev

very clean toilets and shower block although only two of each which I can only think will be queuing in the high seasons.
only down fall is a very large pond in site which has no fencing or signs around it.
short walk on unlit and unpaved road to local pub and village shop which was a lovely friendly place the Sunday roast in pub was very filling and tasty.
well worth a visit. about 7 miles down the road is Bawdsey quay which has foot ferry in summer. good cycle to there but again on a road.
Busy family-friendly site. Facilities are in demand in high season as there aren't many for the size of the site. We walked to a few pubs in the area, all on road (mostly quiet - apart from a family of deer crossing the road!)View all reviews by bobbi
