we just had 2 nights at Jeugdstadion and very pleasant it Was , automated receptionwhich was easily managed when arriving out of normal hours ,. Toilets, showers were clean and there is recycling bins and a grey waste water disposal point ( Motorhome water point broken during our stay ) , when we stayed the cost was €15 with €4 deposit for barrier card and free wifi
As other people have commented it is only a short walk to the Menin Gate Memorial and through into town for shops, and the Flanders Field Museum
The Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate at 8pm is a must do experience, very moving, and I would suggest get there earlier to get good vantage point ,
the down side regarding the site was the constant humming coming from the factory behind the campsite 24/7 while we were there

Just spent 3 nights on the Stellplatz of Jeugdstadion and very pleasant it has been too, nice welcome from the reception, we had booked for 2 nights online but managed to get an extra night, it does get very busy and I would recommend to pre book. Toilets, showers are clean and there is recycling bins and a drive over grey waste water disposal, when we stayed the cost was €15 with free wi-fi
As other people have commented it is only a short walk to the Menin Gate Memorial and through into town for shops, restaurants and the excellent Flanders Field Museum (allow a minimum 2 hours)
The Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate at 8pm is a must do experience, very moving, and I would suggest to get there 7 30pm latest.
Now planning tomorrow's adventure elsewhere

Nice spot for a short break or overnight, we've done both. 10 minute walk into town. The Flanders Fields museum is a must, as is the Last Post at the Menin Gate. The Aire is fine broken up into 3 van pitches so so long as you aren't in the middle you have grass as well. Showers on campsite adjacent are fine.
