I'll echo the other reviews in that this is a great stop over. We paid £4 for 24 hours when we arrived mid afternoon. No disturbances overnight and even had a couple of other vans for company.

Superb stopover, right next to the pub and in the centre of the village. We made use of the tap on an outbuilding as there were no signs saying not to. We were the only ones there on a weeknight at the end of November but felt perfectly safe.

Brilliant motorhome stopover. Right in the village, we parked up and paid our £4 then went for a walk to Tintagel Castle which was closed! no matter though, lovely coastal walks and good wander around the shops. Recommend the home made fudge shop and had a good ale in the pub. We spent a peaceful night in the car park, it's about time more councils caught on to this. We happily spent a few quid around the town then headed off to Dartmoor next day.

handy stopover and only £4, there is a tap on a wall that I saw motorhome filling their water tanks with but it does state on the sign NO facilities. slightly sloping in places, I personally don't recommend the food in the pub though but maybe that's just me, the king Arthur cafe down the street does a good breakfast though

Absolutely stunning, great place to stop, the rest of Cornwall should take note of this little gem of a place, loads of room and lots to see. There is a fresh water tap near to one of the pay and display machines, so was able to top up before leaving. Will be going back. 20p for local toilets.

This place is exactly how it shoukd be going forward. Easy simple parking in the centre of a lovely town. N
I intended one night and stayed two. There must have been 30 vans there of all sizes, no noise, considering its an extension of a pub car park. I slept well and felt safe and peaceful, apart from one monster new MH running some sort of onboard generator.
As a result of this towns welcoming attitude to vans (there are three car parks offering overnights), I went out both nights to the local pubs, visited the castle, joined the english heritage, and had a great vegan meal. I did my shopping, bought items from Cornwall Hospice, so left no footprint apart from cash into local businesses

Perfect for a 1 night stay to check Tintagel out. Easy (large entrance, well signed, pay and display machine)
Cheap (£4 for 24 hrs and £1 refund on food purchased in pub over value of £20)
Quiet - 15 others with us overnight

Tips - cows woke us at 7 - which was nice and unexpected.
Im not a great sleeper and the drips from the overhead power lines kept me awake as i couldnt work out what the noise was!

Right in the centre of the town, but with great views across the countryside.

Plenty of pubs and cafes within a few minutes walk, with Tintagel Castle a little further.

Large car park, busy during the day with trippers, however, empties out at around 5pm. Twelve vans here overnight.

No facilities.

Large car park and excellent food at the pub.
We stayed during storm Elanor and it was extremely windy!
Good value for money although I suspect it would be very busy in high season.

Excellent place to stop over, large car park, £4.00 for 24 hrs, with public toilets nearby. The pub is friendly with a good varied food menu reasonably priced, Tintage itself
Is breathtakingly beautiful as is the surrounding area, including Boscastle which is a must visit while there.although we have been here many many times, this was our first time using the campervan, I can highly recommend.

Excellent facility, good food in the pub. £4 per night. About 10-12 campervans and motorhomes when I was there. Very windy night but found a sheltered spot. Water available. Will certainly use it again.

Very busy during the day but nice and quiet at night. Tintagel is a small but popular resort and worth a visit. King Arthur's Arms in a nice friendly pub with one or two real ales. Serves meals all day including breakfast.

Lovely area to visit , with lots of fabled history. Enroute be aware if you are in a very wide Moho to avoid the narrow lane route my sat nav took me down . Once there the parking area is big with plenty of space . Prices overnight is £3-£4 ? Depending on Moho or campervan . All vans must be "selfcontained " but I didn't see anybody enforcing this . Parking is safe, quiet, clean, family friendly. village has a couple of mini marts for provisions but pubs, cafes and tea rooms on door step,

Stayed here for one night. Motorhome parking is to the left where length of bays have been extended with gravel but slight slope. There is a big grass area you can use too. Very quiet. No facilities but plenty of pubs etc. Local toilets 20p. Rubbish bins in street. 50p less per night than the other two adjoining car parks!

Just an update on this car park. The owner the pub landlord is now using the grass area to the left of the car park. Water is now available, and is in the process of adding showers. Very friendly . Did not charge extra for people towing cars. Went in May about 21 motorhomers there. It was £4.50 per night.

Our very first experience of a "pub stopover"
And very good it was as well.
Cornwall can be a bit of a nasty experience for anyone trying to park anywhere. Tintagel seem's to have the right idea. The terms and conditions were a bit confusing....spoke to the landlord, and he wasn't that keen on enforcing....he was more keen on enticing you in to his pub. Look out for car parks that specifically say moho friendly an "not council"
"Overnighting" is 6pm till 10am
Massive Car Park. I know from experience that it will be filled in seasonal times though.
He's obviously enlightened, he's bought the adjacent field and is currently trying to lay 10 electric hook up's, as he can see the benefit's of attracting more moho's. :-)
The "Mayflower" car park next door is also moho friendly. Avoid the council cp's or the AS one

We've enjoyed 2 nights in Tintagel at King Arthur's pub car park. Right in the centre of the village. £3 for the night £3.90 for the day. He has now purchased the field and there were some units on the grass but beware if you have a dog as there have been sheep in the field previously and I found a few ticks on my dogs. There is another car park in the next field where you can camp overnight on short grass. There is also a car park at the far end of the village opposite the information centre where you can pay £5 for 24 hours.

we were looking just for overnight prior to New Year......pulled up in an almost empty car park and did the right thing spending £3.00 for atwelve hour overnight........as usual on sites like this there were one or two others at far end of car park not displaying a ticket and probably hoping that it was that time of year.
Part of your three pounds can be rdeemed in pub.....which we found to be exceptionaly friendly and efficient being geared to holiday market and guestrooms.pub food was very good, though at the price for parking you are not exactly tied to that choice..Quiet night tho pub did have bottle collection at 8pm so half way down car park or further is best ....the pay machine demand reg number so probably in season they are checking ruthlessly? NB facilities are tarmac and peace and quiet

Okay so it's not a pub with camping in the usual sense - it is a carpark and as such there are no facilities and not a lot of character, but it's slap bang in the middle of Tintagel, and for £3 a night it is exceptional value. Great for a night or two if you are self-contained. We went for breakfast in the pub which was excellent and the staff were so friendly. We'll definitely go back!
