It's now gone up to £15 a night which is quite expensive seeing there are no facilities. All you get is water taps and waste disposable points. It's an excellent location though nestled in the woods with amazing walks and mounting biking trails. We were here over a bank holiday weekend and it was still really quiet. It's has limited opening times throughout the year so check the website before.View all reviews by dolph587

Sitting here in the sunshine with a nice cuppa is heaven. Beautiful site among the trees. Plenty if water points. A couple of black waste points too. You MUST have your own toilet facilities or they will ask you to leave. Plenty of great walks and a gentle one hour walk to the visitor centre is beautiful.View all reviews by rumour
This is a quiet site and only open at certain times of the year, so worth checking the web site. The rangers clect the £10 fee and are very knowledgeable. Semi friendly squirrels are fun to watch as are the fallow dear who wander about. Great facility, please take care of it.
Forestry commission site where it appears that there are no rules. Generators were still running at 01:00 and units were parked within feet of each others. Nice site for wildlife with lots of deers roaming freely. Is it worth £10 per night? Not sure if it is but others may disagree.View all reviews by theberties
