A great site, handy for M6 but with lots to do close by.. We stayed for 3 nights and will definitely be back. A lovely tranquil atmosphere, immaculately clean. The owners were very welcoming. Real value for money at £13.00 per night including electric and hard standing. Great views all round.

Stopped here on the way up to Scotland on the Thursday before Good Friday. We hadn't planned on stopping on the way up but the bank holiday traffic was horrendous on the M6 so we decided to overnight just past the Lake District. I remembered this site was advertised at the aire in Ambleside and I'm glad I took the details.
It's a lovely little site with 5 hard standing pitches, four of which have individual hook ups and water taps. Unfortunately there was no hookup on the pitch we had, but was still charged the same price.
Craig the owner - who is also a Motorhome owner and very welcoming - has provided excellent facilities including a drive over service point for Motorhomes and a single toilet plus the usual chemical disposal point, all sited in a small stone outbuilding which also has a map with local areas of interest marked.
Plenty of space to let your dogs or children run around.
