Booked here at the last minutes after being informed that the Keswick CCC Site was closed temporarily due to flooding. Stayed here 2 nights and it was very pleasant with good facilites and good walks from site for exercise or dog walking etc. Will come again when the weather is better but I’d imagine this site gets very busy. I guess the only downside for motorhomers is the lack of any walkable shops for provisions or a pub.View all reviews by keithtrish

Coping well with Pandemic Lockdown restrictions. Immaculately clean, two toilet blocks are operating club wrist band system (3 people at a time) so patience required. Well placed for Ullswater and Pooley bridge, with easy access to Blencathra. Royal pub at Dockray served delicious lamb shanks despite restrictions.View all reviews by FrancisFogbound

What’s not to like, lovely site with good access to the Northern Lakes, lovely wardens, good offlead dog walking nearby, nice pub just over a mile away, pitches well presented & fairly level, facilities seem good & clean, can’t comment on bathroom facilities as used our own. Keswick & Penrith nearby. Will definitely use again.View all reviews by Geoffglg

Lovely site, but busy, as you would expect in The Lakes - try and get an outside pitch with a view of the hills. Some pitches have small slopes, so levelling blocks may be needed, but nothing extreme. Chip van visits Tuesday & Friday evenings, apart from that no shops/pubs close by, but you do get plenty of peace and quiet!View all reviews by strinesian

This was our first experience of a Caravan Club Site we stayed a week in June 2016, we couldn't of picked a wetter week , this site is quite expensive but the setting is wonderful, the site is in a beautiful area of the Lakes , plenty of walks and only four miles from Keswick, the site itself is very well run , a chip van visits twice a week , highly recommendedView all reviews by thewynnster
