The council will only allow a 12 month lease so the C&MC can’t justify investing in electricity or hard standing. However it is still worth staying for a couple of days to visit Totnes. Both the river and town are only a short walk away. The excellent Curator Cafe is just over the bridge. My wife, who is a dress maker, always likes to come here to visit Stone Fabrics - who have one of the best selections of fabric in the country.View all reviews by Take55555
A very pleasant cub site, which feels very rural but right on the edge of a lovely town. This site does not have electric hook up, or motorhome dump point, but the showers etc are up to scratch. The island in the middle of the river is a lovely little dog walk, and the castle at the top of the town (English Heritage) is worth a stroll round as well. We enjoyed our stay here. Views from site not fantastic, but some great ones not far awayView all reviews by butchs1
Great site close to the river dart. Short work into totnes. Very clean facilities and very helpful owner. Due to the weather the grass was very boggy. Parked on the access road the first night and then was able to park on hard standing. There is about 5 hard standing spots which where being used. Ferry to dartmouth across the road when the tide is in.View all reviews by nisbetts
A pleasant site in a great position. Close to the river Dart and an easy walk into Totnes. However, toilet showers are very dated and no EHU. Also all grass. Good trnsport links boats, buses trains etc.View all reviews by spartans2015
Toters, what a brilliant site with this our sixth visit in maybe eight years. Although you should know that this site does not have/offer electric hook up, that said we love it here. It is located right by the river dart and very close (300m) to the town of Totnes in Devon, itself a wonderful Bohemian gem.View all reviews by EricAndLinda
There is so much to do and see in the local area, just get yourself there.
Great location . Easy walk into Totnes. No electric but site leased from local council on 12mth basis. Very wet on ground when we were there and had to park on tarmac. Site managers extremely helpful and work hard . CC can't do any alterations so facilities old but very clean and well maintained. £20 per night.Worth it for location.View all reviews by leftinner
Perfect location for exploring Totnes town and a 5 minute walk from the Steamer Quay where leisure boats leave downstream to Dartmouth, connecting the steam railway with the River Dart steam packet, and a lovely way to appreciate the stunning scenery as you cruise down river and back. No electric hook up but clean toilet shower block and washing up and laundry room. Nicely kept quiet site. Riverside walk from the campsite so location gets a 10.View all reviews by rover
