Only half site open as it is winter. Spotless facilties but as the site was full people were queuing for showers. Easy walk through a lovely park,great for dogs and children. Took us 20 mins to walk to town. Good shops. The atkinson centre is part museum ,coffee shop. The site is in a good location but a bit too big for us. Good size pitches

Second time here last minute thing easy to book not all site open didn't like first picth was allowed to change it went to different part of site which was nice staff helpful site nice and clean

Clean site , wardens friendly , easy walking distance into southport took about 15 mins or you can pick up the park and ride bus , which runs every 10 mins ,

IF you want to go to Southport for a night out and/or to visit a show then this is the place to go.

However, if you want to wake up to a beautiful vista............I would go elsewhere

Very nice site short walk to Morrisons, park and ride £2.00 for all day good value site very clean and tidy well maintained small shop on site facilities very good and clean nice park just behide site beach across road

Perfect for visiting Southport. Town, Pier and Beach all within walking distance. Nice clean and tidy site (as you would expect from the Caravan and Motorhome Club. One thing to mention is that as with many seaside towns nowadays Southport is going downhill, quite a few closed down shops.

Large and very clean site. Toilet and shower blocks spotlessly clean. About a 30 minute stroll to Southport centre. Would stay here again.

Stayed two nights here. Nice walk into Southport through the park. Walk the other way to Birkdale and pick up the train to Liverpool. Facilities spotless and due to there being two blocks are open 24/7.

Good site, very good clean shower/toilet block. Easy walk into Lord Street for shops. Also walked to Birkdale and got train to Formby to see red squirrels. Would go again.

Nice site very good shower blocks which are spotless, great location only a couple of minutes walk into the town, or onto the sea front. Ideal for visiting the theatre.

Usual Caravan Club site, excellent toilet block on new section. Most of the pitches are sheltered from the prevailing wind. Easy walk through Victoria Gardens to town centre. Walk out to Rotten Road where volunteers maintain flower border alongside road.

This site epitomises Caravan Club sites, excellent facilities, very tidy, efficiently run. Excellent location for Southport town centre and a pleasant talk through the park. Easy to get to the pier and beach too. Now open all year round but was a little flooded when we were there - it was December!
