Good size pitches fantastic facilties, we did not use the pool but it looked good. There is a childs play area . We walked to the plough pub ,lovely welcome with a quiz on a Wednesday. We caught the RF 2 to melton Mowbray cost £6.10 return. Could have gone to Oakham but not enough time.View all reviews by lainey54

On site cafe was open when we were there (I think just weekends in autum?) and food very good.
A hot tub is available to use/hire and we got to use the indoor swimming pool which was nice & warm and good changing rooms.
Went to Plough pub for lunch and excellent food and very dog friendly.
Would certainly stay again uf in the area.
We arrived on a Sunday unannounced (which is our normal preference) to be greeted by the warden of this managed under contract site. There was much puffing and blowing as to whether he could fit us in. I said no problem we would soon find somewhere. A very quick turnaround by him found us sited in a few minutes to see that the site was less than half full. Having said all the the site wasn't bad and we found a nice walk. None of the on site facilities were available at the time (mid March)View all reviews by colincocokfield
