Longleat Club Site in Warminster is one of the network's most unique locations - where else in the UK or Europe can you hear lions roaring at night from the comfort of your bed? Set in beautiful parkland, the caravan park is located in the midst of the lovely Longleat Estate. The area's famous Safari Park, first to be opened outside Africa, is literally on the doorstep of the Longleat Club Site.

Nice location. Clean well run site. Busy August 2020. Zero phone signal so if you need to remain in contact with the outside world no signal. Paid for site wifi as i had work to do, that is totally useless as well.

Never again! First the positives - it's an excellent site with all the usual CMC benefits. It's quite a big site, but there is plenty of space. But, it only makes sense if you are willing to pay £29 EACH per day to visit the Longleat facility (20% reduction for CMC members). The ticket gate is right outside the campsite. But there is nothing else available unless you pay that eye watering price every day. The shops, cafes, and most walking opportunities are all behind the ticket gate. There is a pub about two miles away, but it's not an easy walk. WiFi is very poor and there is no cell phone signal. Bottom line - great if you want to visit Longleat, but sucks for any other vacation purpose.

We really enjoyed our stay especially as the site
we booked did not take motorhomes (must read site access more carefully next time). This is a family site with easy access to the Longleat House. Make sure you book your Longleat park visit as places are limited due to the virus. We will be back.

Stayed for two night on route to Cornwall. Normal club site. Clean and well kept. Nice walk to pub on main road. Directions to site not easy. Sat Nav will send you into the park. Best follow sites written instructions.

Good clean site to stay when visiting Longleat. Entrance just yards away. Nice countryside for walking. We visited for the Lantern festival which was excellent.

A return to this unique site within the grounds at Longleat. As expected and repeating previous experience the site is superb and extremely desirable for visiting the House and Safari Park. 'adds so much convenience to a great attraction.

Wonderful site. Very clean and really friendly staff. Longleat Safari Park entrance is a two minute walk away. We heard the sealions all three nights and the lions on one night. You need two days to do the whole attraction. We’ll be back.

Just a stop off as I need to empty my waste and couldn’t be bothered to drive any further that day. Everything you’d expect from Caravan Club site. Friendly, helpful staff, pristine facilties and well laid out.

Zero phone reception (EE) at the pitch I was in though. Might be different elsewhere on the site but where I was (North end) it was a total deadspot. Ended up having to pay for wifi access which I always begrudge doing as I pay so much for it with my phone.

stayed here to see the Festival of Light. Pitches are all hard standing and great toilet/shower block with underfloor heating - lovely and warm. A short level walk along the drive to the Festival of Light 200 metres from campsite. Note tickets need to be purchased for entry in to Longleat/Festival of Light. Makes for a good weekend away if you want to do safari park also (can be toured on a bus).

Lions don't necessarily roar! Stayed at the club site for 4 days. Nice facilities and great position if you want to go and see the house or park. Nearest pub a fair stretch.

Good spacious site and well laid out. Plenty of shade in hot weather. Not much in the immediate area apart from the safari park and the nearest pub is a long walk. Better if you have bikes. Great area with lots to see if you have a car.

Lovely, well maintained site in the grounds of Longleat. Facilities are very good. Safari Park and house are a 5 minute walk. If you want to visit, buy your tickets before midnight the day before, via the C&MC website, you will get a good discount. No need to do the drive through, there is a bus tour for it, £5 each. Seems a lot but almost 2hours and excellent commentary. Everything else is on your entry ticket. We had a great day out. Site is close enough to pop back for refreshments, as rather expensive in the park.

Great, well laid out site. Fish and Chip van calls on Friday evening, all freshly cooked. Short walk, approx. 5mins into Longleat grounds.

Large site but extremely well kept with the usual club standards. Stayed a few days with our daughter and her family who were in their caravan for the summer holidays. It's excellent for families who are able to take advantage of a multi day ticket to the adjacent Safari Park. We left them to enjoy the area as we had a crossing to France previously booked. Great site for families as is the local area.

It's a great site because it's attached to Longleat safari park.
Apart from that it's a well maintained, obviously very busy site.
