|Situated in Moreton, half way between Poole and Weymouth in Dorset crossways Club Site is an imaginatively landscaped destination set in the midst of 35 acres of lush woodland. Pitching is available in open groves, all of which are linked by a scenic snaking road. This makes for easy access around the caravan site, from the charmingly named Iron Horse Meadows to Poachers Paradise. If you want to leave the car behind for an excursion or if you're simply a rail enthusiast, the railway is a five minute walk away.|
There is a pleasant pub adjacent to Crossways Club Site, serving good food. The caravan park is within convenient reach of a wealth of interesting attractions at the nearby town of Weymouth. Also close by is the harbour town of Poole, with its blue flag beaches and Lighthouse Arts Centre, and a short drive from the site brings you to the historic market town of Dorchester. From its glorious beach to the charming shops and wide selection of restaurants, there is something memorable to be had for everyone in the family.
It’s been said that the locals are very friendly the deer come and eat out of your hand.

Pitches set in little groves , difficult to work out where there is a free space, had to go round site twice to find a spot in the sunshine. Very quiet site despite being next to the train line, I was worried on arrival as I kept hearing the train hooter and thought it would keep me awake. Visited pub for carvery which turned out to be a two minute walk from a side entrance to the site. Wardens very friendly.View all reviews by bushyf
9 metre van no problems, wardens lovely. Lots of trees so you wont get the sun all day. The deers roaming this site made our stay. We use own facilities note its compost style toilets here. Some pitches will have road and train noise but plus side train 2 mins walk. Good pub 2 mins walk cavery excellent £7.99 every day more expensive on sundays. Moreton village less than 2 miles away cycled to Lawrence of Arabia church and grave, the ford river great for kids and dogs, walled gardens free to visit, old school house cafe very good. Cycled through ford to NT Clouds Hill House and also Sculptures by the Lake in other direction £10 so pretty on hot day take a picnic. Theres parking in MoretonView all reviews by clairemike
Cannot add much to the previous review. Friendly wardens and pleasant location. Ideal for local NT locations and Tank museum.View all reviews by petercsmith
I love this site, have been twice now. The wardens are welcoming and friendly. The site is lovely. Don't be put off by the drop toilets - they are immaculate, no smells at all. Moreton train station is close by and on this visit we went to Dorchester but Weymouth & Wareham (and beyond) are on the same line. We also explored Moreton village and visited TE Lawrence's grave. I know we will return again!View all reviews by carolyn31
