At the heart of the Monbazillac and Bergerac vineyards and close to the St.Emilion, Bordeaux, Entre Deux Mers and Duras regions in an area of pleasant forested hills and valleys ideal for both a family and/or a sporting holiday.The 11 hectare site is crossed by a little brook la Gardonnette and has a 2.5 hectare boating lake

Note that the campsite is now called Pomport Beach, the correct web address is http://www.pomport-beach.com/en now (same telephone number). It's a good site for kids, nice beach on the small lake and an area for small boats. However, reports of "unlearn water" - beyond me how that would happen. The pitches were not maintained at all and were over-grown grass. Facilities were relatively OK and there is no shop on the campsite, so be prepared to go 2km on the back roads to the village for supplies
