Great compact campsite very close to Baveno. 500m to the centre and lake ferries to islands via footpath 50m up from campsite entrance. Supermarket 500m. Lovely views of the lake and small area for sunbathing and swimming , site is actually on the lake.Fairly tight access. Covid rules strict, masks in all enclosed areas including showers and washing up sinks. NB THIS SITE IS NO LONGER ACSI . Rate in early September €28.00 per night, worth it for its location.View all reviews by jant
Very popular, we got the last available pitch with a small lake view. Facilties looked fine and clean, but did not use. Access to motorhome service point a bit difficult due to parked cars. Friendly helpful staff .
Great location. Easy 10 min walk to Town and boat terminal (for boats to islands). Site is a bit cramped but worth it for the location. We disnt get a lakeside pitch but all pitches are a fee minutes walk to the beach and lakeside where you can sit in the evening. One downside was the noise on Sat night from the beach club next door (not sure if this is regular or a private party. Facilities were good and there are a couple of fridges for guest use which came into hood use when w ehad to take our van to the mechanic for gte day. As with all sites in Italy it was more expensive than sites in France ans SpainView all reviews by SConstantinou
Nice site, friendly owners, good facility's, ACSI rates but not on the lakeside pitches, dog friendly, small pebble beach, canoes for hire, short walk to the town (well worth a visit) Very busy when we stayed (September) no marked pitches (owner walks you to your site) and pretty crammed in.View all reviews by rogbik
What a find! We were lucky to grab the last lakeside pitch...BEAUTIFUL. Ducks and swans with chicks, watching the ferries, snow capped mountains in the distance. Excellent and immaculate facilities. Just 10 minutes walk into town ( do take time to explore the town, especially behind the church, won't say more, I'll spoil it.), where you will find, waterside restaurants, ferry stage to the islands and buses. you ask?! Note: we did read before booking about night club noise, either we were to tired at the end of the day to hear it, or it wasn't noisy! Best and most convenient campsite of our trip.
