Rocked up on 5th Jan to find the place locked up and like the Mary Celeste despite being in the acsi book as open all year.View all reviews by essexfun4two
No sign of life yet the reception tv was on and goods on the shelf.
Not even a sign on there reception door.
Stayed for a couple of nights, the staff are really good and helpful. the onsite supermarket is closed but they do sell essentials, bread, croissants, milk etc in reception. the site is a bit hilly and at one stage had to reverse backwards uphill, didn't do my clutch any good. some plots are overlooked by flats. the trees are a concern as they are not tall enough yet, so be careful. The restaurant/ cafe is only open from 9.00am to 16.30pm. there is a pub/ restaurant in one or the flats, otherwise you will have a long walk or cycle ride into town, or bus or taxi. ASCI site at 19 eurosView all reviews by mobi10

While the pitches may be a little tight at least when we arrived the trees had been pruned!View all reviews by essexfun4two
Very friendly reception staff and clean facilities. Right on the beach
Very tight pitches make this site unsuitable for units above 6 metres. The low branches on the trees have many marks where campers have failed to pitch safely.View all reviews by ralphss8
At weekends the site fills with Spanish campers and becomes unbearably noisy. A pity as we had planned to stay for 2 weeks and left after 4 days.
The reception staff are very friendly, and there is a small shop with essentials and bread. The pitches are a reasonable size, but the trees cause problems for bigger outfits. The facilities are good on the whole, although the bar and restaurant were closed in the off season. The back gate leads to the promenade into Cambrils, and dogs are allowed on the beach at this end in the off season. The walk into Cambrils is about 2 Kim's, and the marina has lots of nice restaurants. Walk the other way, and the beaches are wild and deserted, although the path has fallen away in a few places, so some rock hopping was required. A really nice place to while away a few days, although in season it would be too busy for us!View all reviews by stonemags76
