As per previous review, nothing special although toilets and showers in the block with the water feature were excellent. No usable WiFi, and they want to charge for what there is.

Large pitches. Metal frame work fir summer shading. Reception ask how tall you are and advise on which pitches are suitable. Then you get to choose one. Newly refurbished facilities spotless. Next to lovely huge beach with a huge dog friendly beach a couple of 100 m along from site. Brilliant for us. Bolneuvo village directly outside site. Mazzaron in other direction. Pool looked lovely but imagine it could get crowded as nit overly big. ACSI for us so good value.

Nice tidy site but not for us as felt very cramped in the bays. Toilets and showers were very clean and is right on the beach. A few bars but nothing too special in our opinion. €17 ACSI

We were on a pitch by the games courts and the pitch was tight in headroom due to the low metal framework for the pitch summer covers, I had about 2inches to spare so if you are tall ensure that you don't get one of these. Lots of pine trees and processional caterpillars so beware if you have animals. Toilet block clean but looking tired no soap, no working hand driers and collect your paper before using the toilet. No wifi without payment or traipsing to the bar. Roads need resurfacing.

Very busy site with many long-termers. Overhead framework for shading for pitches in summer is of two heights, the lower just taking my 3.20m MH. Moved to a beachside pitch with higher framework after one night. Well-maintained, very clean facilities, pitches 60 or 80 sq m. ACSI card @€17/night accepted, includes up to 7KW electricity daily, then surcharge.Right on a wide beach, bars and restaurants, and a small but well-stocked general are just outside the site. Port c.4km, bus convenient.

Good spot, could do with the plots and roads being resurfaced. When it rains it's a mess.

Stayed 2 nights 8 and 9 Jan 2018. Good clean site and facilities. Dog friendly and site backs onto the beach. Right next to Bolnuevo with a handful of restaurants and bars, medium walk into Mazarrón which is main town. Site shop closed in low season, but very well equipped Spa supermarket just 50 m down the road.

A busy site with a range of nationalities from northern Europe, and some Spanish too. Pitch sizes were ok. Toilets very clean and modern. Nice pool. WiFi did not extend to our pitch. It´s on the beach, part of which is specified as dog friendly, and the site does not charge for dogs. Close to bars, restaurants and shops. Overall, it was satisfactory, and expect some people wanting a lively place would really enjoy it.

2nd consecutive year for us. What can I say? It's excellent.17 euros on Acsi card. Lots off Brits to make friends with. Pool very very clean. Almost spa water quality. Lots of investment on site- New block passing roads. Sun shades. Launderette 3.50 euros. Dog bath 1 euro. Flat pitches - our number was AM it was double sized & close to pool & toliet block. If you want to prebook it's a good one. No need to phenol though in May you can take pot luck.

The site is located in a village near Mazzeron. Plus points include access directly from the site to the promenade and a lovely beach. The adjacent village has a well stocked grocery, a pharmacy, good restaurants and bars inluding a blues club complete with (aging) rock band playing 'al fresco' on a Sunday afternoon. Quite good though!
Big plus point for us is the official dog friendly beach. Toilets and showers immaculate, modern and plentiful. The facilities including motorhome wash and dog wash are excellent.
On the minus side the wifi did not work at all on our pitch. The compact pitches are compacted (dusty) dirt. At this time of year this huge site is occupied mainly by pensioners over wintering. No problem with that except the personalisation of the pitches has resulted in it having the appearance of a shanty town.
On balance I don't think I will return.
Ther is however',a large free aire overlooking the beach a hundred metres on past the site which is very popular for those motorhomers so inclined.

Site in great location next to a dog friendly beach. Pitches are good size but are very close to each other with not much greenery in between each one. Showers and toilets are newly refurbished, clean and spacious. Entrance and exit to site is chaotic with not much room to park as it is always busy.

A good walk to the main town and Marina is about 40 minutes away where there are lots of great bars and restaurants. Local town next to site is picturesque.

We visited the ACSI site in Mid October 2015. the cost at that time was €16 per day inc 7Kw of electricity. It has a decent pool which was open when we visited. The toilets were old but clean. Update.... We visited again in 2016 to find that the toilets had been modernised, however the cost had risen to €17. The site itself is situated in a good position adjacent to the beach. Puerto de Mazarron was just a 3km bike ride. On our first visit in 2015, we were not far from the recycling bins, which were emptied each morning at 0630, so be careful where you go! on our second visit, we were placed in the middle of some ex Pats who were really friendly and got us involved in all the activities. Will go back.

We have a Facebook page that records our travels - if you search for Betty Bolero and "like" the page, you can scroll down to find photos and write ups for this area if you fancy taking a look. the further down the page you go, the older the posts - just carry on until you find the date(s) we were here. Hope you find this useful.
