As others have said, the facilities are a little dated. However, the area is fabulous for walking, road and mountain biking and the lake does offer site access for canoes and fishing. Even in summer the snack/bar shuts earlyish but is open for bread etc at 8AM. Other bars are within walking distance. I would seriously consider coming back or at least the area.View all reviews by ozzo

A beautiful area with endless walking in the forests and also mountain biking. We visited off peak on ACSI at €13pn plus tourist tax. The bar/snack bar were closed and the shop had very limited stock, presumably these facilities have gained the site its 3* status. The other facilities eg toilet/shower block & washing up area are old & dated -similar to a municipal 2* campsite. The pitches nearly all have a slope to some degree. It was a shame that many of the lakeside edge pitches are taken by season/long termers especially as they park lengthways on to the lake maximising obstructing the lake view & access for everyone else particularly as nearly all were unoccupied during our stay.View all reviews by cartyl

Large campsite overlooking lake. Most pitches have view of lake. Toilet blocks quite outraged but clean. Bar and snack area. ACSI site €13 in June 2018. Lovely walks from site.View all reviews by minicooper
