This is a family orientated site with lots for kids to do. Flat site no ramps needed easy for a wheelchair to get around although the two swimming pools are not wheelchair friendly. Small restruant/bar serving the usual pizzas plus a couple of other choices. Staff very friendly. Our pitch was near the railway line but it was not really an issue for us, trains every half an hour durring the day but not between 9:30 pm and 7:00am. The site was very quiet after dark. Across the road is a wheelchair accesable path along the coast of an almost empty beach.

Accepting this friendly site is next to a railway line. (Infrequent and small trains) Some of the well shaded level pitches are affected. (Ours was unaffected) Toilet facilities were good and well maintained. Indoor and outdoor pool with slides very enjoyable. Great cycling area. A short distance over the level crossing next to the site leads to a large sandy beach along with access to coastal cycle routes (25 min ride to la Rochelle a must.) 10 min ride inland to the nearest Lidl. Worth a visit

Was here at the end of the season so not a lot of the site was open. The pitches were a good size and level only one sanitary block open fairly clean the showers were cold. There is a little shop in the reception area that was reasonably stocked even for the end of the season. You can pre book bread, pain chocolate etc which are very nice.A short walk to a lovely sandy beach that has a couple of beach hut bars one of which does fantastic pizzas to each there or take away the other does moules(in differnt ways) frites.Lovely walks around. The major downsides to this site is it is beside a railway line so you get the noise from that and there is a constant noise from the main duel carriageway. Two out of the three people I had dealings with on the site were very friendly and good English was spoken to help out with my pidgin French.

A reasonably large site, end of season stay, very quiet except for the Friday through Saturday when about 400 medical students came to stay and party, well behaved for students. One of the sanitary blocks left a lot to be desired, certainly didnt look as though much effort had gone into the cleaning of it, the other sanitary blocks were ok. A long walk to the railway station to get train for surrounding areas like La Rochelle and Rochefort. Close to a wondeful beach. Staff were very good and a number spoke English.
