Lovely sight with a friendly atmosphere.Fairly level pitches, swimming pool, bar and restaurant closed in October.A very nice special occasion meal can be had at the bottom of the hill at Hotel Sables Blanc.Shower/toilet block mixed with loo seats and paper.Very clean and heated in October. The water in the showers is warm.A good walk into the town but nice walk down the hills to the beach and walk around the cliffs.Second time here as we use it as a stop off for the ferry.About 1.5hrs away.

170 pitches! Most seem flattish (although ours needed levelling block under one wheel). Many are shaded, those nearer the exit have the best sea views. 10 amp EHU. Toilets/showers decent. Pool closed in October, bar still open. Pathways to beach (150 metres) and to the town centre (1.5km). 17euro with ACSI card.

Great site and facilities. Pool and restaurant closed in October but the bar is still open! Facilities are excellent with good wifi across the site now. Pitches are mainly level and you are able to choose your own spot (at this time of year anyway). Views to the sea are dependent on where you pitch. Good walks into Concarneau and to the beach and about £15 per night all in (MH, EHU and 2 people). Would definitely use again!

Excellent site. Friendly, helpful reception. Beautiful outdoor pool. Magnificent views. Nice modern bar and restaurant, if a little pricey.
Nice green pitches, lots of trees.
Good hot showers, lots of toilets.
Close to town, 20 mins down a beautiful track. Can also do coast walk to town, which is fabulous, from the beach (150m from site). Stunning coastline.
Town is very pretty. We had a great lunch st La Croisiere restaurant in the port, great seafood and menu du jour.

Town on the island lovely too.

Fantastic value with ACSI €16.

Lovely site with pool and jacuzzi ( not usable as too cold in early April). It has a nice bar restaurant which seems popular. We arrived laye si checked in with the bar staff and paid the next day. We paid 32.40 euro for two nights with electric and ACSI card. 5 minute walk ti the beach and there you can walk along beaches fir quite a way ( but suspect tide comes right up at high tide). Walk down ti concarnau old town is about 20 minutes pkeasant walk. Small shop area in reception which sells essentials. Pleasant grassy pitches divided by hedges. Shower block good with hot water and very clean. We would definitely recommend it.

Great site you select your own pitch from a choice given to you before driving in, good wide sectioned off pitches on all different levels. Didnt use the facilities as we use our own. Great walk along the coast into town about 40 mins but an easy one, the town is well worth a visit especially the island fortress. Parts of the beach were dog friendly but also a wooded area to walk your dog just through the town gate

Great site and seems very busy with out of season travellers. Restaurant food not really very good value, but may be due to being out of season. Great views from the pool, bar and restaurant. 1.5km walk to the town. 500 yards up hill from the nearest beach. Pharmacy and tabac within a 10 min walk. Mainly French motorhomers at this time of year. Fully serviced pitches and a good clean sanitary block. Worth a stopover or a weeks stay.

As others have said a great site with very clean facilities, pool and restaurant (which closes before the end of Sept). Some lovely walks in the opposite direction from the town. The town is interesting and worth a visit. Excellent value at 15€ a night using an ACSI card

As everyone else has said great little site, nice pool, restaurant on site is reasonably priced serving good food. They have themed nights and the BBQ night was great value. All facilities are clean. We did pay 30€ per night for just the two of us but well worth it. A nice cycle along the beach front to get to the old town which is really quaint and well worth a visit. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back or recommend.

Our experience was somewhat different to some of the other reviews on here. We agree the pool was nice, but it closed at 7pm? The restaurant looked good but was fully booked ? The walk to the Old Town took us far longer than any one else, but there was some work going on involving a new development of apartments so an "unmarked" diversion got us completely lost. By the time we got to the lovely walled "old town" most of it was closed (about 9pm). Having said all of that, site was OK for a night.

Typical French site, good spacing, adequate services, situated on the banks of the Loire, easy working into the town, plenty of wine tasting and restaurants. Handy for several impressive Chateau the area also seems to be centre for caves into the limestone, with mushroom growers (Tour recommended) and homes built into the cliffs. The area is noted for Crement wine with lots of production tours.

Echo all comments! Great site for visiting Concarneau. We are 2 OAP and found the leisurely 20/25 min walk into town easy! €15/night using ACSI card Sep 2016.

Nice welcoming site, we were just touring the area and came across this site in the book (pre search for sites) good sized pitch, electricity, water, etc. We were closely followed onto the site by six MH from a French MH Club nice people very friendly. Pool and Hot Tub were excellent as was the restaurant which also does takeaway if required. It says 15 min walk into Concarneau! I feel this is a little ambitious! That said it is a nice walk and the walled fort is really worth the visit.

Stayed on this site last year...it is a great site..apart from getting lost on the way there!you can basically do as much or as little as you wish, the nearby town of Concarneau ,a great place just to walk around (,especially if you are into history) is well worth visiting..we were fortunate enough to get a pitch overlooking the sea
