Lovely free aire just two minutes from a perfect little Bastide town, very picturesque. We arrived about 2.30 Saturday afternoon a few places free, but by 4.30 it was full, so get here early. The town has one or two resturants and cafes. Most were closed Saturday afernoon, but opened about 7pm. There are few tourist type shops and a Spar, butchers etc all typically for France closed at lunchtime. The aire iis definately worth an overnight stop.View all reviews by joyet
Small aire round the back of the fire station, just on the outskirts of the main town. Water & waste available at the aire, rubbish just up the road & toilet block a 2 minute walk into town.View all reviews by shez
The aire is just on the edge of town which is well worth a visit. There was a wine festival, with live music, while we were here so it would be rude not to join in & sample some.
Lots of historic buildings around the town that can be followed on a trail. Well worth a visit.
Small aire, but will take more than 10 . Very close to town, but also very quiet. Service point ok. Nice town. Although arts festival filled centre so we couldnt appreciate what it all looked like.View all reviews by angelal
Pleasant small aire near the fire station and grave yard. Monpazier is a short walk away and it is both a Beaux Village and a well preserved example of a Bastide town. It is worth picking up a leaflet, in English, from the Tourist Information, and following the Heritage Tour.View all reviews by Take55555
The aire is deservedly popular, free and has all services. If you want a pitch I would suggest you get there before lunch if you can.
Both the town and the aire are well worth a visit.
room for about 10 motor homes, depending on how they have been parked. fresh and waste water services plus rubbish bins. The aire is located next to the fire station. It is a short walk to the lovely medieval village of Monpazier, still occupied by "normal" people, but the center is given over to shops and artists. Worth another walk round early in the morning when not so busyView all reviews by gtandft
