nicest view is over the river so keep following the road round to your right.
Lovely place with spectacular scenery BUT very clear signs that motorhomes are only allowed to park during the day. No motorhomes between 8pm and 8am. We parked legally, had a walk, noted GNR pass and moved on. This should no longer be listed as a site; its daytime parking ONLY. Don’t even bother (as we did) with the town on the other side; there are signs EVERYWHERE stating ‘area prohibited to motorhomes and caravans’ , in most parts of the town, no chance to even park! We won’t be back.View all reviews by FantasticAndrea
Fantastic stop. On the river, great swim and beach. Not sure of rules but it is right up there as the best'est stopover site. Probably not allowed at weekends and high season. We pulled over before the cafe, more secluded after cafe.View all reviews by southbourne
Update. We stayed one night. 2nd night GNR asked us to leave before 8. Luck of the draw.
A great stop that seems to welcome mohos. Out of season plenty of parking opportunities. In season there is a bar/restaurant on the beach and there are bins. Nice walks along the beach with views across to the town. Again in season it seems as though there is a ferry that goes across the river. Quiet night, police drove by without any issues.View all reviews by themotoroamers
