Our first campsite in Portugal and hopefully things can only get better. If your a dog owner you will love the constant yapping of local dogs all night long ... personally I could have happily shot the lot of them .View all reviews by wynpar
We were going to stay a few days but FO after one night - not recommended at all and God knows what its like in summer when all the locals arrive - Oh did i mention the place also looks like a bad refuge camp, your view is likely to be that of a knackered caravan.????????????
Also thought i had better mention that if your in a long van you need decent driving skills or some good luck.
OK. Vans are really crammed in. Little space. No views except over vans in your face! Like a car park. Way too cramped.View all reviews by sallyw
Showers and loos and washing up areas OK. Set times when water is hot. Bit like being at school. Shower timed to 7 minutes too!!!!!
Reception staff really nice and helpful.
Beach and boardwalk really nice. Local restaurants we found more expensive than Spain for not great quality.
Wouldn't stay here again, better on an aire.
Follow directions in the ACIS book don’t follow sat nav. speaking from experience !!! As previous reviews mentioned lots of permenant caravans make the site look a bit shabby. Toght pitches Set times for hot water! Easy walk to beaches and restaurants. Another site to visit Porto. No view.View all reviews by florence
Large campsite with cramped pitches and depressing rows of very old, permanent caravans with grey awnings and tents. Wash blocks basic and dated. Showers hot but timed for 7 minutes. Friendly staff and welcome drink of port in the bar. 5 minute walk to the beach and nice walks along the boardwalk but not suitable for swimming as very rocky. Best thing about the site is its proximity to Porto. Reception booked a taxi for €6 to the metro which cost €4.60 return. Porto well worth a day trip and we enjoyed the electric tuk tuk tour. Would not return to this site.View all reviews by aliparrott3
Campsite close to the beach. The cobbled roads to get there are a bit disconcerting in a vehicle or on a bicycle however they are not impassable. English spoken, ACSI discount available. The boardwalk along the beach is great for cycling and the beach itself was very nice.View all reviews by olgathemoho
The site itself feels a little grubby and tired in places, permanent encampments and Tenko style tents. The motorhome area had threadbare grass and we were parked (as instructed) right over a drain and water tap. It's reasonable enough but we didn't want to stay longer than a few days. Full services available including washing machines, tokens purchased from reception for 5€.
we ended up staying here for 5 nights. very nice beach with rocks etc. lovely with dog as she could swim. nice quiet not touristy area. we did cycle to villa conti along the board walk. and strolled the beach each day.View all reviews by teamdusty
easy to get into Porto from here. quick taxi to metro stop then 4.60 return ticket. we went with dog no problems.
lady on reception very helpful and suggested and walking route around Porto.
clean facilities. bar friendly.
great place to chill for a few days
15 euro acsii
2nd time staying here (Apr and now). Nice peaceful site with pretty small town. Wifi free but only in bar area. Good hot showers but hot water is only available at certain times which are clearly displayed. Staff are great and very helpful all the time. Washing machine is 5 Euro with token, but be careful as some English people think they own the machine - if you don't take it out after the 30 min cycle they just dump it out for you! Mine got grubby :-(View all reviews by janeykins22
Busy but friendly campsite very close to the beaches. Great staff .English spoken. Good sanitary facilities. Small on site shop.MH point. Only downside as previously mentioned are the surrounding cobbled roads which seem to go on forever. I stayed on my own and was charged €7 inc hookupView all reviews by ilikeboarding
Good clean site, very good staff, very helpful. Got us a taxi to the local rail station to get a train to Porto, explained it all very well. Must have got there in busy time as we were packed in cheek by jowel. Facilities very good. Ideal stop to visit PortoView all reviews by wltomkinson
Stayed here in May 2016 for three nights, very busy campsite, so just managed to squeeze in. Facilities were fine. The reception organised a shared taxi to the nearest metro into Porto, lovely day, and when we came back there was a taxi waiting for us. The other two days we rode our bikes along the beach walkways, amazing weather lots of beach bars, called into one in the afternoon but went back in the evening to watch the sunset. Good restaurant opposite campsite entrance . Just one thing the cobbled roads leading to the campsite were terrible ...... E15 a nightView all reviews by chrisglass50
