This is a wild camping site not an aire, no services at all just a view to die for .View all reviews by wynpar
No problems with the police but there again am out of season. We are here for a couple of nights with about six other motohomes.Direct access to the beach and little further on there is a lovely fish restaurant right on the beach .
The one downside was that a French van dumped his grey water before leaving and left his dog mess for others to clean up or stand- in , these are the type of dirty lazy people that spoil it for everyone else.
Great free safe parking.10 other motorhomes when we stayed.View all reviews by vivagibbo
Very large flat sandy firm parking surface. As previous reviewer said immense views.1.5 miles flat into Porto Covo. Ali unmarked pitches with a view.I have posted ours.
Unsure about the previous review which doesn't seem to belong to this spot. These co-ordinates are for a car park and wild camping. (Indeed the Aire mentioned in the centre of Porto Covo has closed as of 13/3/19) although this is not an Aire. This is a super wild spot either in the car park or along the cliffs where you can watch the waves roll in, ships lining up and stunning sunsets. There is access to Samouqueira Beach which is out of a film set. Stunning place to call home.View all reviews by themotoroamers
This aire is now closed. The town no longer has a free service point. There is an aire of sorts. It’s in a disused football pitch. Access is controlled and it’s run by someone, who was away from it when we called. The “camper” left in charge couldn’t open the gate but allowed me to top up for 3 Euros. I paid but a local guy came over, accused me of being a thief and robber and was going to call the police! Despite the guy trying to explain I’d paid he was getting angrier. In the end I left.View all reviews by steandann
Very popular Aire on edge of town centre. The Aire accommodates 6 to 8 but adjacent 'land for sale' takes another 40 or so. Some stayed on roadside parking, didn't see the GNR at all so seems acceptable. Picturesque town 100m, beautiful beaches the other side, restaurants good food and value. Free water and dumps but grey water grids are on very potholed surface.View all reviews by harvard
small parking lot..for motorhomes on edge of village, dirt surface, market days are held here, but,not sure which days, clear when we were here, nice little village on the coast, Tiny, not much too do, cafe's were good, a couple of nice ones and cheap off the main strip....there is a water point. and toilets are next to the site.Busy in summer and I would expect it to be full quickly, looks like space for around 30 vansView all reviews by tonybateman
