Great stopover with amazing views although some of the approach roads are a bit narrow for larger motorhomes. parking is around a tidy park that has various water taps. ( probably more prudent to use fill up water containers than connect a hose!) . Generally quiet at night although it does seem popular for night time visitors either fisherman or just locals.
Excellent bar, although we didnt try the food but the bar snacks looked good. Very good cycle tracks in both directions.( look for signs for Cicloria ) . Please try to use the large bins thatbare teadily available rather than filling up the picnic bins. Recycling is also available here.
No other services.
Stayed 3 nights, felt safe

Lovely peaceful spot beside small fishing harbour. Recommend Cafe and Restarant. Ate in evening but 8€ lunchtime menu looks good value. New MTB cycle route around lagoon. Cicloria.

Can be done on any bike.
Route on east of lagoon is most tranquil. Best part is north from Cafe Farol to Bestida.
Numerous taps around grassy square. Public toilet next to fisherman's huts open during day.

Interesting journey here, what I’d call the real Portugal. Toilets closed but behind them is a hatch for chemical disposal. The most amazing sight was a flock of flamingos in the shallows sweeping the mud for food. They came quite close and were an unexpected treat!

Lovely free parking next to beach/estuary with lifeguarded small sandy beach. Toilets and water taps by grassed area. Beach restaurant which we didn't try but was busy with locals.
Small village of Murtosa within cycling distance, butcher come small supermarket, bakery X 2, pharmacy. We were there when there was a festival on, good atmosphere, very busy. but come Monday we were on our own. Would recommend and definitely return.

Lovely location by a beach and quiet dock. No charge to park. Lots of space, around 8 or 9 motorhomes here with us but doesn't seem busy. Picnic benches and bins available, water taps also, not sure if it's drinkable they aren't signed as such.

Cafe close by, we didn't try it, shops a short cycle away including a very helpful pharmacy. The town has beautiful traditional tiled houses. Little beaches down the coast, we had one all to ourselves. No dogs sign on the main beach but no signs further along.

We stayed 2 nights and would definitely return.

Lovely spot, quite night. This is a busy working port so be careful to park out of the way by the picnic benchs. Lovely beach but no dogs allowed. Resurant very highly priced for average food. Lovely walk in the morning watching all the activity of the boats (squid and cuttlefish) coming and going. There are public toilets over by the fishermens huts as well as the rearurant ones (which were locked on our visit). Well worth a visit.

Returned for our second visit, what a beautiful place. We had a meal in the restaurant at the back of the park which was good value, tasty and huge. The village is well worth exploring with it’s tiled houses and churches. The taps have been removed from the park but it may still be possible to get water from the WC block in an emergency.

This is a beautiful place with great views but I'm not convinced it's an authorised stop. No signs either way. Very peaceful once the cars stop parking for the views. As said below there is a gap of two spread about but nothing else open during winter months.

Beautiful views, and pretty fishing boats, along with a cycle track and lots of walking make the sometimes narrow roads to this overnight stop well worth negotiating. There is also a bar restaurant with good Wifi and a toilet block the parking is on the waterfront next to the harbour. Apart from cars calling to see the views the area is very quiet.

This is a lovely spot to park for the night with a number of berths for the local fishing boats. The were a number of cars and two MHs when we arrive but by the evening there was just two of us. A quiet night and no problems.
You are just at the water's edge with walks to the local beach.
