A free aire with space for around 20 but overflow car park used by many at time of our visit. Dump available and water with jeton €2 euros. Town OK with, castle fort and church, a supermarket and a few bars/ restaurants, bakers etc. easy access from A22.

Free aire near in Castro Marim Decent enough quiet spot. The parking is clearly signed and if there isn't room there is another car park nearby. The town is nice to walk around and there are 2 castles. Medieval nights are busy. Water and all waste disposal for a €2 charge (didn't use) We have a Facebook page to record our travels - if you search for Betty Bolero & "like" the page, then scroll down to find photos & write ups for this area if you fancy.

Nice overnight stop. Supermarket 200m, castles 500m. Only filled late at night, overflow into adjacent car park seems possible but there are "Motorhomes prohibited" signs. Main parking area just takes 9m, however there are 2 positions that would take 10m.

Getting very busy now as so many vans on the Algarve if you can find a spot it's OK for a day or two.

This spot was really busy in Feb and we could not get on the official aire. However around the corner is a big car park which was also really busy. We stayed on the car park with no problem for a night. Didn't use the facilities as the que in the morning was massive. Nice little supermarket nearby and castle.

The last or first stop on the Algarve. The parking is clearly signed and if there isn't room there is a large car park a few metres on where stopping does not seem to be a problem. The town is nice to walk around and there are 2 castles, one of which you can get in to. Medieval nights are the busiest time to visit but worth it.

Nice stop if travelling to or from Spain to Portugal, right on the border. The main Aire was full when we stopped in January 2015, but we were able to park for free in the big car park next door with no problem. Nice town with castle and several bars/restaurants, a bank and shops. Would recommend this and will definitely stop here again.
