Nice stopover with walks around the lake and over the dam. Parking in the tarmac carpark with very little view or on the grass along the dirt track with lovely views of the lake. There were too many flies on the grass area so we had to park on the tarmac which was fine, quiet and flat, there are three loose dogs possible belonging to the goatherd they barked at us but didn’t bother us, care would be needed if you had dogs with you. The tap in the carpark has been removed so the only services are bins.

What a fabulous spot, gorgeous views over the lake, wonderful walks and plenty of room to spread out among the trees. Picnic tables, a bin and a tap (may not be safe to drink) are the only facilities, but great for some peace and quiet. Just us and 2other vans when we stayed, felt very safe. There is a car park adjacent to the road or you can take a dirt track and park up further away from the road. Would avoid coming here with a dog as there are local sheep dogs that roam free, they are fine with people but we saw them attack another dog in a campervan.

Free parking area on rough ground overlooking the lake. There is a water tap which is signed as non-potable on the roadside. Picnic tables etc near the road, but you can park anywhere between the road and the lake if the ground condition is suitable.
