Essentially a large car park with service area at far end, no specific marked spaces, but no problem at all to overnight - and plenty of flat space. Service area good and easy to use. Beautiful medieval town with all services, Sunday Market, (also a Carrefour Express open Sunday mornings). Great regular train link to Santander (station is next to aire) makes it a great alternative for visiting the city.

Right in the centre this small, pleasant town. Various amenities. Alas, when we arrived end ofJuly it was their local fiesta and a small fair was located on the aire. A very helpful local said not to worry, we might just squeeze in. Also told us of a car park right nearby where it’s OK to stay. Said the local police were fine with mohos parking. But for the sake of being in the middle of a small fairground we moved in, services good. Approach in was cosy in places but no probs for our 8.5m tag.

Pretty town in parts with some interesting architecture, plenty of bars and restaraunts. Parking in the station car park, very tight spaceing , gets very busy, ok if you really need to stop.

Nice clean site next to the station. Pretty town. Douglas Micro brewery on the road just outside 15/20 min pleasant walk worth a visit they only do tastings at weekends maybe more in season. We just bought a bottle of each and did our own tasting in the van. Apparently Daniels is the place to eat.

What a lovely little village. Stopped here last night (14 march) after the ferry from santander. Cycled up the very steep but very rewarding hill which is behind the car park at the station. Views were incredible but not for novice riders. Over 4miles all up hill!! Will definitely come back

Perfect free stop over about half an hour from Santander. The car park has now been cleaned up (Feb. 2018) and is clean and tidy. Nice town with good convenience shop and plenty of places to eat and drink.

A useful first night stop from Bilbao or Santander ferries. Minutes from the town & quiet at night. Turn left out of the carpark & you can walk about 400m to a Roman bridge which leads into the old town - a pleasant evening stroll.

Great stop with free services, now 2 separate taps. Dedicated places in a mixed carpark at the side of the station, small narrow gauge trains runnung every hour, not through the night and not noisy. Old town, shops, bars, cafes and a bakery which looks like entering someone's home then opening up into a very busy business. Sunday market along the river frontage, lots of walks along the river, railway and into the hills.

Convenient stop for the ferry ports. Nice town. Beware arriving on a Sunday as there is a market on the site so no access until the market finishes.

A bar within 200 metres for tapas, and several more in the pretty, small town 300 metres away. No night trains and this is the end of the line. Nice scenery, but narrow roads to get here, not really for large outfits.
