As stated this is a car park, but nicely situated for the town behind the walls. A nice steady walk up 120 steps to get to the town, but well worth the effort. When we woke the next morning we were sharing thecar park with 28 different sizes of motorhomes. Could have taken twicethat many.Nice stopover.View all reviews by Bazza12750
A huge free parking lot just outside the medieval walls with views of the city and countryside. The old city is well worth a visit and has numerous bar/ restaurants but mainly tourist shops. A short walk from the parking over the wooden bridge is a path up to an excellent viewpoint taking in the view of the old city. No facilities on site but great for a couple of days. Lots of historic buildings in the walled city and you can walk round the walls for 5 euros. supermarkets on edge of tozwView all reviews by samwillis17
Quiet stop over here. Lovely town, UNESCO listed walls. We enjoyed the local shops, including the indoor market. Toilets available in the convention centre otherwise no services except bins.View all reviews by carkey

Stayed here for one night, with 7 motor homes and 2 coaches. Large car park with hard standing flat spaces behind Exhibition Center and Policia Local station. If something on in exhibition centre then may be difficult to park during day but otherwise lots of space and was quiet at night. Ten minutes walk into walled city, no services other than rubbish bins.View all reviews by javeasteve
It's just a carpark, but it's free and quiet at night. Well lit, and the police compound entrance is at the top of the carpark so helps to feel safe. Nice views of the town or over the valley.View all reviews by agent006
Only services are bins.
An excellent aire for visiting this lovely walled city. It’s only a short walk past the Police Station to the entry gate into the old town. Well worth a visit. If you fancy food, there are some good restaurants at reasonable prices, the white bean, chorizo and lardon soup is particularly good and very filling.View all reviews by sprokit
This is just a free mixed parking area for cars, coaches and motorhomes. No services apart from dustbins, but in a great location for visiting the city of Avila which is just a few minutes walk. Lovely interesting walled city well worth a visit. Parking is behind the police station and the local theatre. There is restaurant/bar just at the front of the theatre very handy if you don't fancy cooking!View all reviews by jant
Right behind the Gendarmerie with a view of the walls which are lit up at night. Yes it's mixed parking but the car park is huge.View all reviews by waves
