Initially we thought it was OK. Reasonable parking area with a lovely view, next to quite a grand looking building. Right next to the parking there was effluent pouring into the sea. Whatever it was the fish were going crazy for it, leaping out of the water. We thought this was funny and charming. On closer inspection the flow looked cloudy and there were bits of tissue. The smell varied between not bad and truly awful. Not to mention the flies. When we were leaving we drove to the other side of the building to use the services and the huge doors were open. There we could see poo - tons of it- coming out of a pipe into a large container. The smell was horrendous. I should give this one a mis

Good stopover. Good services and flat parking by the marina, nice view if you get a waterside place. Town has two supermarkets and two bakers, plus a launderette. Bars, restaurants, veggie shop. Good walks, medieval bridge, railway station with (quiet) frequent trains locally. Could make a good base to explore area. Kids play area too. Smell from sewage station minimal while we were there.

Nice quiet spot with great views overlooking the estuary and the fishing boats. The town has a few cafes/ restaurants one of which is within 200 m but little else. We used it as a stopover following our visit to Santiago. The usual services are all there and as others have mentioned it is located close to a sewage treatment plan . We did smell it very occasionally but to be honest it’s not that bad and is only there occasionally, don’t let this put you off staying here.

Great stopoff with beautiful scenery and although the town is rundown, everything is there that you need. It's barely noisy at all and deadly quiet overnight, 1 very slow tap by the black waste spot which you will not be able to fill your tank with but plenty of tarmac pitches some which are bus size. A launderette in town open til 10:30 pm and loads of little cafes. beautiful when sunny and fun to watch the older men playing petanque. Much, much better than the on street parking at Redondela.

Ok for a night stopover. Great views but noisy with the locals, sewage station, and boats coming and going. Services a bit basic. There is a second tap by the bottom left that feeds the main tap but you'll need fitments to make it usable for your hose.

Great view and a very pleasant beach with a walk along the estuary to the old village and the Roman bridge. Yes this is at the side of a sewage treatment building but we found the smell only bad when the workers were there which is only short periods in the day. Shame the service point only has one tap but we cleaned the tap with antibac before using it for water for our tank. Plenty of shops in Arcade which is not the prettiest of towns but there are some nice bars and cafes close to the Aire.

Stayed two nights, a couple of caravans seemed to be stored on carpark, next door to sewage works, but while we were there no problems apart from a small amount of noise. We caught the local train to Vigo the train was late so we didn't have to Pay !!!! Wonder if that would work in the Uk !!! Walked up the hill to watch the European final, Real Madrid and another Spanish team !!! Very friendly landlady kept feeding up tapas all night and then gave us discount for the drinks ... Would use again for an overnight stop ideal for using the train station .

Located right next to an estuary with lovely views. There are a couple of caravans that seem to be there as permanent fixtures but this wasn't an issue. You can walk into Arcade in 5 mins where there are bars and restaurants. Its not a remarcable place but suits for an overnighter. Free of charge
