Retired couple stayed 1 night. Out of curiosity walked to the campsite just up the road to ask nightly rate couldn't believe 41€ very noisy could still hear it going on until 12pm from where we're were so glad we were not there. Felt a bit nervous as we were only ones a bit noisy until 1 am.
We had a lovely walk around grounds of Palace.

Lovely free parking spot, by the river, just across the bridge from the Royal Palace. On the photo of the map the parking is shown with a yellow dot. No services, just glass recycling & small rubbish bins close by. Very peaceful (though the geese & ducks that live under the bridge all woke up about 8am for a bit of a squawk!) Very little road noise. Firm, flat surface but watch out for the concrete block sticking up in the middle. When we stayed there was just one other, Dutch, motorhome. Popular with fishermen, walkers & joggers. Children's play area adjacent with picnic benches. All attractions closed on Mondays.
