Huge gravel car park with no facilities. Next door to a cinema with toilets that also has an outside cafe bar. Didn’t use the bus service to town. Parked in Mechelen after coming for a late afternoon visit and stayed here for the night.
The campsite symbol on the map shows a different location (see my picture) but the navigate too picture was spot on.

Large gravel car park used daytime by locals in cars. Park and ride bus in the adjacent car park in front of the cinema, free to use to the town centre which we found an excellent service and travelled both there and back. Dropped us off in the town square.
5 marked motorhome spaces, no other facilities. Lorries came and went during the night which was a little noisy but as it's free we feel it's good value especially with the P&R facilities.

In large gravel park&ride car park. No facilities, but apparently planned for 2018. Well lit all night. Free minibus into town by cinema at town end of car park. Traffic noise until late evening, but not excessive. 24h max stay. Huge cathedral tower well worth the climb, with interesting things to see at various stages while you get your breath back. Spectacular carved wood pulpit inside cathedral - baroque unleashed in all its fury! Busy Saturday market in main square.
