We have stayed here twice both times in January. There is a 24 hour maximum stay. it's free if you don't want electric or water. if you do want electric then you pay at the cafe at the planetarium and it's now 10 Euro for 24 hours. It was 5 Euro last time we stayed. they will also give you a token for the water which is included in the price. lovely signposted walks though thr forest.

Single woman with springer. Enjoyed this aire so much we stayed a 2nd night, well worth the €10, felt very safe, really quiet over night and the routes around and through the forest are very clearly marked. We did the red 9.5k route the 1st day and the blue 7.2k one the next, preferred the blue for dog walking. Lovely lad in the planetarium reception spoke very good English and was most helpful even biked down for the key when I hadn't returned it ???????? would definitely visit again.

stayed here very nice and rural very quiet
pay 10 euros all in at the planetarium reception
the lady give you a key to unlock the electric box and give you a token for the water
all the basics are here
there is a restaurant at the planetarium
absolutely do not walk in the forrest
and get lost like we did
a local guy brought us back to the site
all in all a superb location for a night or two

Arrived after midday on a Saturday, obviously no space! Still used the water and dump then found some other campers in an overflow carpark back the way we came. The official parking was clean, but very busy, easily 30 campers squeezed in. I recommend the overflow as it is large and open. And not everyone has the balls to wildcamp!
Obviously the forest is amazing, so much to see and look at. Wild birds of prey, butterflies and everything else you would expect from European forest.

Good, clean, well designated site. You need to walk up the Planetarium to pay and get key to unlock EHU. And then walk back to return it! Stables opposite are worth walking round. Biking/walking good. Restaurant at Planetarium was the only downside - poor food, slow service and even by Belgium standards expensive.

Watch out for the horses, they are every where and the midges. A popular Aire.
