Site still open. 10.50€ a night. Water (100litres) 50cent, although slow push button water for small quantities free - bring your watering can (too slow to fill van up!) electric available for extra € per KW. Nice level site. Didn't notice any road noise particularly.View all reviews by seawolf62
Easy access and just outside the new Low Emission Zone. This is our third visit and we always find it fits the bill. There is always a concierge to take your money and give you your waste sack and any advice you may need. There is plenty of room and satellite TV reception should not be a problem if you site yourselves to avoid the very plentiful trees. Access into the city is good using either bus or tram. You can by 1, 3 or 5 day tickets for de Lijn services valid throughout Flanders at very low cost. For example the five day ticket is currently 17 euros. Best to buy the from Tabac/Press as the de Lijn shops seem to have random opening hours.View all reviews by davidxhobbs
Lots of green open space & hard standing.8 euros for 24 hours but the Antwerp council are in imminent danger as in any day.... Of taking over this site- destroying it & turning it into a large underground exhibition centre car park. All very sad- one less for us.View all reviews by vivagibbo
Great as a stopover place to visit Antwerp. Large open spaces however facilities very tired with electric points needing a large thump to make them accept the money before pressing the button!View all reviews by jaynep
Well located site which you can reach without entering the congestion zone. Site quiet but background traffic noise is 24/7. Very friendly and laid back. Ideal for cycling into the centre, cycle paths all the way. But they do get busy during rush hour and can be used by scooters as well as push bikes.View all reviews by roamers
Nice friendly site on the Antrwerp ring road with easy access into the city. There's a bit of a noise drone from the traffic but not too bad. Flat grass or tarmac pitches, choice of sunny or shaded.View all reviews by alanthornton
This site is very open with large trees shading the grass, it looks very peaceful.it is a little dated in places, the owner was very friendly and explained everything to us.View all reviews by gwade
The tram is a 5 minute walk away and takes about 10 mins to the city.
There is plenty room on the site for larger motorhomes, and it felt very safe , and in a residential area
Not really an "Aire" but a campsite for motorhomes. Situated on the site of an old campsite, this is an ideal location for visiting Antwerp. (Note: the campsite nearer town does not accept large vans (>3.5t or tag axle caravans)View all reviews by admin
The owner is very helpful and welcomes you on arrival explaining the facilities and issues you with a map and directions to town.
Tram stop is 5min walk and you can take either tram 2 or 6 which for €1:30 each takes you to the central station in Antwerp. You buy your tickets at the tram stops (no change is given) then we think you are meant to validate your ticket in the machine on the tram. (Failing that you keep your ticket and use it othe return journey :) ) The old town is a further 20min walk towards the river.
When we visited it was the 'worldoutgames' (Gay games) so the town was full of 'interesting' people.
