Lovely site with friendly chap running it.View all reviews by tonymilford
Easyvaccess to the village and to the coastal cycle path and the Exmouth ferry. We will be back
Sloping pitches, high chocks required. Excellent paved hardstanding.
The only slight niggle was after paying £25 fir a pitch with hardstanding and EHU you had to pay out 70p a time for showers.
Very popular site.
Just got home from a lovely 2 night stay. Bit of road noise at night but nothing to speak off. Hardstanding pitches are large enough but was a bit tight getting onto ours without putting the front wheels on the grass, which would not be a good idea in the wet. Paul the owner was very helpfull when we booked so no complaints there.View all reviews by NigelNickyB
One word of warning sat nav will take you up a lane that takes you to the farm entrance, the entrance to the site is off NEW ROAD which is the Exeter road for light vehicles.
Very quiet site near Exeter. Tight turn on access but fine once in. Facilities are basic but 16amp electric and peaceful setting work. A short walk to Starcross get you to railway station, bus and shops.View all reviews by garypm73
A lovely small CS (c&cc). Level hard standings with electric hook up. 1 shower for men and 1 for women. Didn't use these as we used our own. £1 for 7 minutes. But they were clean and tidy.View all reviews by lizp
You can hear the train and some road noise but it makes it accessible. But it's quiet at night. About 10 minutes walk to the station and 5 to the bus stop at the end of the road.
Close to pubs in Starcross and Cockwood. A great location.
Small peaceful sight. Pleasent surroundings. Not a lot of facilities, but if you want somewhere to stay with hard standing and electric worth stopping. Clean adequate shower. Bus stop within walking distance for most. Slight hill to shower. Disappointed that the shower was £1 as it didn't seen such good value then making it 20.50 a night.we could not get a TV signal.Sorry I may have reviewed twice by mistakeView all reviews by susiem
Lovely small rural site. Helpful owner. Pitches are on either side of a narrow bridge in the middle of the site and some are sloping but there are 5 flat ones on the far side of the site over the bridge . Pay extra for showers etc which can get busy when the site is full. Eggs for sale onsite. Small lake/pond with lots of wildlife. Path from the rear of the site leads to Starcross for the Exe Trail cycle path, travel to Exeter/Dawlish and beyond by bus or train and ferry to Exmouth. Very nice pubs a short cycle away in Cockwood.View all reviews by sandrae
Quiet site, friendly owner, only negatives are the £1 showers and no washing up facilities.View all reviews by OldRascal
Lovely site with sloping, grass pitches but ramps easily level up. Chickens and geese on site in lake and stream. Very helpful owner who is happy to talk you through directions while you drive :-) Location is rural but very close to the ferry to Exmouth and the train runs close by, too (didn't hear it, though). Very good value site and definitely recommend. We will be back :-)View all reviews by soupdragonsmum
