This CCC site is a very handy place for a moho stopover when heading up:down the A1(M).
Arranged 90 mins before arrival, we were made to feel welcome despite the tea rooms being so busy. The site allocated was on grass, opposite the farm house, overlooking the field of horses. A lovely position as the sun went down. EHU was available there. March: £12/night or £15 with EHU. A smart loo was available beside the shop (cakes, pies, ice cream, spirits, etc). Would really have liked to have a shower!
Good TV signal except when small planes from the local airfield flew over (frequently).

Fabulous little stop over on the way to Norfolk, situated just off the A1. Very tidy and clean pitch. Basic facilities, however no problem with us as we are self sufficient with solar power and own toilet and shower in moho. Toilets are available, just let the owner know so they are unlocked. Very slight road noise from A1, but didn't bother us. £10 per night per unit, without EHU. Not sure how much with electricity. Dogs welcome. Apparently there's a tea room and ice cream parlour on site, but we didn't use. Definitely recommend.
