The site was tucked away at the far end of the grounds and to be honest it was disappointing not to have views of the lakes. We had Pitch 17 which was possibly one of the worst positions. We had booked it weeks ahead, but felt it was like a single night stopover spot. It was off the main driveway, with no privacy as you are on a thoroughfare for campers going to the toilets. I know it’s school hols, but it was not a quiet site, with too many screaming kids for us, even the caretakers were loud.

Beautiful grounds and surrounding countryside, well maintained with nice walks around the site's fields, ponds, swans, Canadian geese, heron etc. Situated next to a road with some traffic noise and under Manchester flight path however did not affect stay/sleep. Facilities adequate, could use a few more sinks and a separate pot washing area. Marbury Country Park approx 2 miles away is stunning. The Spinner and Bergamot under 1 mile provided a nice beer garden and bowling green (did not try the food). Pickmere Lake, 7 mins drive away, is a pretty spot for swimming, SUP boarding, picnic etc. On pitch 20, two beautiful mature trees block east/west sunshine. £16 w/o ehu.

Phoned and booked only one hour before arriving, even though busy, they were very accommodating and welcoming host. Lovely site, great facilities and local pub within walking distance via the farm. Good choice if attending Tatton Park events.

Booked at short notice we were met on site by Gordon and Jen they were very friendly and helpfull. We were asked how we would like to park to get the best view. Toilets and showers very clean, Gordon was even washing the dustbin lids. Lots of info and 20% off pub meals if you tell them Gordon sent you.
Walked from site to Mulbury country park and Anderton boat lift well worth the visit.
Arley Hall and Lion Salt works also close.
This is listed as CL but the site caters for a lot more outfits

We arrived to a very warm welcome from Gordon, escorted us onto our pitch and left is to it.
Later on we paid for our stay ( very reasonable rates) and given loads of useful info about the local area, and the route to the pub.
A fantastic site, very well looked after, lovely clean and warm toilets and showers.
A short walk to the pub ( The cock @ Budworth) which has great beer and food.
A great site, lovely hosts, nice area. No more needs to be said.

Stayed for one night travelling from the lake district back to north Wales. Gordon welcomed us on arrival and was extremely helpful. Was quiet with just a few other units. 2 fishing lakes on site and was woken in the morning to the sounds of Canada geese and cows. Would use again if in the area.

Easy to find if coming from the M56 through antrobus. A rutted lane leads between two lakes to separate camping areas. Jenny and Gordon are friendly and helpful hosts. There are plentiful hook ups and the bathroom arrangements are excellent, lovely facilities and spotlessly clean. An excellent location.

Not so easy to find, once found though a lovely quite site with plenty of space and friendly site managers.
Facilities are basic but adequate, the showers were nice with plenty of hot water.
There are several fishing lakes adjacent to the site.
The local pub, about 15 minute walk, has a great menu and good beer.
Would be happy to return another time.
