Had a great time on our autumn visit. Setting perfect if you love the countryside. Owner very friendly & very relaxed. Dogs loved being able to explore the farm. The 30min walk to Charmouth along the river was idyllic. Site was a little scruffy but that added to the relaxed feel & it was winter! Everything you need for a MH is there. The showers & loos in the farmhouse were top notch. Charmouth itseld was lovely but I'm guessing its heaving in summer.

stayed one night end August.
very peaceful, no road noise or anything except birds. we camped in the second field, one hard standing there. we had very nice views, worth going on this pitch if available.
owners very friendly.
facilities they have 2 seperate lots, one attached to the house the others in the farm yard. both perfectly clean. 2 showers and toilets in each.
we walked into charmouth which was a nice walk down the valley. not hard.
would definitely recommend for a peaceful stop over.
20.00 end August

Rang and booked same morning very helpfull lady on the phone she gave me accurate instructions on how to find it
We arrived down a narrow lane parked in good sized hard standing pitch fairly level
Then walked to the farmhouse to book in
Chap there was very cheerfull and gave me instructions on where everything was
Although basic the showers and toilets were very good and spotless
The 20 minute walk into charmouth was a bit optimistic took us 40 though to be fair we didnt rush the walk down the valley next to the stream was very pleasant full of birds and wildlife
Charmouth is a pleasant place 2 pubs serving decent food at a reasonable price shop for restocking food

Arrived at this campsite at 7pm without a booking and it wasnt obvious where reception was but one of the campers advised us to park our motorhome on a pitch and then go to the farmhouse and make payment, so thats what we did, on my way to the farmhouse bumped into a lady walking her dog, i asked her if she was the owner and she replied yes, i told her i wanted one night and that i had parked on a pitch, she replied we dont like people just turning up and that i should have booked, then she said we are fully booked but there were three pitches empty and it was 7pm, then she decided we could stay but we would have to move to another pitch, she didnt say please or thankyou and was very
rude.
