A lovely little highly convenient site. Long journeys are tricky and, heading to North Wales from Kent, we wanted a cheap over-night close to the motorway. This was perfect as many suitable locations were too far/close to make a difference. Within minutes of leaving the M1 we were in a sleepy Leicestershire village. The site was solely ours (and the ducks) but had no facilities. We saw nobody and were advised to open the gate to enter, leaving the payment with the shop after. Will use again.View all reviews by garawa
Wow....fabulous site! Great value only £6 per night. Great views looking over Leicestershire. Fabulous farm shop over the road with excellent scones and beers. Will definitely be returning. Lovely place to totally unwind and 20mins drive from home. Definitely rate it 10 out 10.View all reviews by mummychris3
£6, very reasonable. Gated field or car park to sleepover in. Village, seems safe.View all reviews by AnnDrew
Quality food in on site cafe/restuarant - from £5 for breakfast.
Farm shop on site, sells meat, dairy, preserves, quality craft beer/wines, etc.
Friendly staff. Recommended.
Stopped here last night as it was close to our Motorhome service Centre. The Farm Shop entrance is wide and the car park is gravelled and slightly sloping. There is the option of stopping across the road on grass when the weather permits. Good Farm Shop and cafe at the back, Pub 5 mins walk. Main gate closes at 6 so quite secure. It is a working farm so expect some noise from the animals and the nearby clock tower which chimes every 30 minutes. Good stopover only £6 no electric.View all reviews by swoods
