We offer 5 pitches, all with electric hook-up in a quiet, friendly environment with wonderful views (see above) from the site field and access from the field gate straight onto footpaths leading to Hope, Castleton and beyond.
Our location is very popular with walkers as the immediate area offers a wide choice of both gentle valley-bottom walks and the more challenging routes onto the Losehill ridge, Mam Tor and over into the Edale Valley.

I came here looking for peace, quiet and privacy after a night at the club site round the corner. It’s a lovely spot with beautiful views and the owners are really nice.
There are footpaths running past the site that lead up to the ridge so perfect if, like me, youre here for the walking. Plenty of pubs nearby.
No toilet, no kids, no fairy lights. Just a small field with a tap, chem disposal and bins

Access is via a narrow, bumpy lane - manageable, but take it steady and hope not to meet anything coming the other way! The site was quiet with lovely views up to Lose Hill. No facilities except EHU, fresh water, and chem toilet disposal, so you need onboard facilities. A good 10 minute walk into the village, back along the lane, or via a footpath; you'll need a torch at night. Good value for money, so would definitely use again for Castleton.

Tranquility in a nutshell. 10 mins walk to the road, set in a field and only the bleeting of lambs to be heard. If you like to get away from it all this is great. Only Chemical waste disposal, water and EHU so its almost back to nature, hence the reason I have put 6 for facilities but that is reflected in the price. The scenery in this area is stunning along with plenty of walks. Will definitely go back.
