Great site and best showers we have come across.View all reviews by chrissie8888
Beware access, you must access from A149, not A148. The road to the site itself is unmade and rough but ok. Would still go back.
Had a weekend here back in june 2018View all reviews by Ribblerob
The sight was a little difficult to find and a rather narrow lane to get down so some may struggle with a large caravan or motorhome.
The sight is perfectly located between Sheringham and Chromer. And there are some lovley coastal walks from the camp sight and its definatley worth walking up Incleborough Hill for views over Norfolk.
Two toilet/shower blocks on sight that are kept to a good standard.
We did come across a Loose Bull down one of the footpaths walking back from Chromer followed by a lady with a dog lead trying to catch it ???? lucky for us he was only after the cows across the field.
Nice club site for Country and Seaside. The approach road is unmade and a bit rough and ready, wouldnt want to take a very large outfit up it. Friendly reception team. Average toilet and washing facilities. No shop or pool. With age concession rates and no electric hook up staying on grass cost £15 night. We walked in the woods to Cromer and West Runton. Nearby train and bus services within 1/2 mile. The train goes to Norwich and takes 30 minutes. The bus go up to Wells next the sea and Cromer.View all reviews by dbavington
Lovely site once you get there, but the lane to it is horrendousView all reviews by jeancullen
Lovely site but as already said in other reviews its horrendous coming down the lane to it especially if you have a large unit. Overhanging branches can scratch the sides of your van. Once there the site wardens are very friendly and will help all they can. Beautiful and clean park. Toilets and showers second to none. Children's play area. Nice walk through to the caravan club sites and about a 10 minute walk into West Runton where you can catch the train into Sheringham or Cromer. Large golf course near the site too with club house. Eating places a bit expensive in Runton but a fish and chip van comes onto the site every Saturday. Well kept site and would definitely go back again.View all reviews by moiramount
The site is accessed via a one lane track that winds through the woods for about half a mile. There are passing places. It brings you out into a large open camping field. You have to drive round the field in a clockwise direction then park up at the sign until you've been to reception and signed in. You can park where you want and the warden will come with you to help site you. You'll need levellers on some pitches. The site is surrounded by trees, so be mindful where you pitch if you want all day sun. (We parked near the edge and were in shade from 4pm)View all reviews by gailh
Facilities on site were good, plenty of showers and toilets. There's a small shop in reception with limited stock. Nearest shops, pub, beach, cafe are in West Runton. (You can take a short cut through the Caravan Club site). It takes about 25 mins.
There's great dog walking off site on the hills. Go through one of the wooden gates on the edge of the field to access.
Fish and chip van came on Friday tea time. The sports bar next to the golf club let's dogs in and does meals, they're really friendly too.
A great site if you want a peaceful break
Perfect site for walking not far from beach and Cromer and Sheringham.View all reviews by janetgeorgemoseley11
