Love this site, quiet, rural. No facilities but we prefer our own anyway. We’re on h/s cos we didn’t know how the weather was going to be but would choose grass by the river next time. Friendliest wardens. Footpaths and cycle routes in all directions. Cycled to Hersham along the river, pretty little place but not much there. Then cycled to Kingston, gorgeous. Apparently you can cycle all the way to London along the river but we just did a smallish section, had a coffee at the rowing club.

Lovely quite campsite very friendly staff a lovely dog walk just off site. A large lake.
There is also parakeets and other wildlife surprises here too.
Just what we needed for a rest day as we returned to Britain after our 4 month tour of Europe.
Hamilton court nearby where you can get close up to the deer.
This is also a Great stopover for visiting London.

Lovely set of fields. Freindly staff. Full of regulars on three week stays. Nice walk by the river, parakeets roost (noisly) in some trees. No toilets or showers. Open April to Oct not Jan to Oct as stated in listing.

Great CCC site. Located down a narrow lane but spacious and rural feeling when you get here. Grass and Hard Standing pitches. Without EHU on grass 3 nights are 48 pounds this week, 2 people and a motorhome. No toilets or showers so you need your own facilities. Water point and waste disposal provided. Childrens play area and a big field. Its a bit of a walk to the bus and train service. We use a small motorbike. Handy for Hampton Court a 4 mile cycle ride away. Also some theme parks not too far away.

The approach road is a singletrack, a little tight so arriving and departing at the correct times is a good idea! friendly staff but don’t exceed the 5mph speed limit :) be aware there’s no toilets or showers on the site. There updating things on site so hoping the Campsite can only get better!

Living close to WoT site we stored our Motorhome for about 10 days as we had builders working on house. The staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful. The approach road was slightly difficult. The site was very rural.
