Very hard to find anything to criticise. The location just across from the Silverhill country park is brilliant. Dogs will love it, they can run for miles, so can there owners if up for it! Fairly easy and quick from the M1. Close to Mansfield for all main shops. Top quality gastro pub a walk away. Facilities outstanding.

An excellent run site with the best facilities I have come across. Roomy and hot showers, decent hooks for your clothes, hair driers, laundry, recycling, books and DVDs for loan and lots of available information. The shop was being refurbished when I visited for 2 nights. 10 minute walk to the pub which was busy at the weekend.WI Fi available at cost.

Nothing negative at all. Good pitches, lovely managers, heated shower block and excellent facilities. Showers are fun - automatic with the shower head in the ceiling, so you get a hair wash if you aren't careful. Hairdryer on the wall but no power points for your own equipment - the only niggle I could think of. Good grey and black disposal points. Short ehu. Excellent food at the Carnarvon. Easy access to motorway, MacArthur Glenn outlet and Nottingham. Essential to book as they are busy.

It's all been said really. Super site - lovely showers and toilets. Large gravel pitches. Excellent food at Carnarvon Arms just down the road. Endless walking and cycling trails and Hardwick Hall a lovely walk away.

Loved this site and its fab facilities. Clean shower block, laundry room and even a shower block for dogs and bikes! There was a good information room and the staff were pleasant. Just across the road are plenty of dog walks and running/cycle tracks. Hardwick Hall is close by and an excellent day out.

Teversal Club Site is one of the best sites I have visited. This is my second visit this year. The facilities are 5star and the staff and hosts are always friendly and helpful. There is plenty of walking across the road in an excellent country park. Easy drive to Mansfield, Chesterfield, Newark Nottingham and Hardwick Hall.
Highly Recommended!

Stayed on this site for a few days in January and have to say it's one of the best we have stayed in ! Tidy site , friendly staff and the most amazing toilet and shower blocks!
Fabulous walks on the old colliery sites the dogs loved it . Brilliant pub just down the road with lovely food called the carnarvon , supposed to be haunted too !!!
Had a Tesco shop delivered to the site , no problem !
Only downside is like a lot of sites now they have workers using them , that go off site late , or arrive very early in the morning when the gates open at 7am . Waking us and the dogs up when on holiday is not good !

This is one of our favourite sites and a regular bolt hole in the winter months over the last few years. Facilities are excellent, in great condition and well maintained.
Walking and cycling trails just across the road, and a lovely pub/restaurant to retreat to in the evenings.

Just come home from a brilliant stay over Christmas at this site, the staff are really welcoming are very informative about the area. There are miles of walks which start just across the road in what used to be the coal pits ,which know are transformed into recreational areas to walk the dogs. There is a monument on one of the rises that is the highest point in Nottinghamshire,at which the views are spectacular on a clear day. A five minute walk down the road brings you to the carnarvon arms which has a good selection of real ales and food.

Brilliant site with fantastic walks for dogs on the old Silverhill colliery site......with a visitor centre selling bacon baps for £1.25! Facilities excellent with even a shower for the dogs. Nearest shops just about within walking distance (hilly!), and we will most certainly be staying there again.

Very nice campsite within easy access from the M1 motorway.
This site has the best shower facilities we have experienced so far with several well equipped and modern wet rooms with own loo, sink etc.
The site is small but very well maintained and configured. Most pitches are close to level.
Great Wi-Fi allowing us to do all the usual internet stuff including watching Netflix into the evening.
There is a pub within approx. 500m of the site and this is superb, serving excellent food at reasonable prices.
Across the road is access to Silverhill Woods and trail. Very pleasant for a short walk. At the summit there is a monument to the mining history of the region.
Would we stay again; yes.

One of our favourite sites, not far from home, discount for over 55's for C& CC members, there's nothing to dislike! The pub down the road serves good food and the Silverhill park across from the site provides the opportunity for exercise. We even walked to Hardwick Hall on the circular route which involves the disused railway line but is not for the faint hearted. Our grandchildren love it here, excellent small playground on the site as well as all the open space across the road. The facilities are second to none and the franchisees are extremely friendly and helpful. We are visiting again later this year with two of our grandchildren.
