Stunning and peaceful location with lovely lakeside walks. Very convenient to have your own water tap as well as EHU on each pitch. Plenty of rubbish & recycling bins, CDP, but no separate grey waste facility - not a huge problem for a couple of nights though.View all reviews by land250
The grassy areas around the pitches, bins and CDP are very wet and boggy, so take the advice of the signs around the site advising not to drive onto them or you might get a bit stuck.
The only little thing I can think of that would improve this site for me would be the addition of a gravel/hard surface path across the boggy grass area to the bins & CDP - otherwise it’s a wellies on job each trip, especially at this time of year!
Stayed here for 2 nights - one of the only CL sites we could find with a shower, ehu, and allowing dogs. The toilets and showers are a couple of minutes walk away but worth having and clean. The perfect fisherman's site - if they have fly fishing equipment. We didn't but my OH was able to borrow from Chris the owner and had several hours bobbing about in one of the dinghies available with a fellow camper. Chris extremely friendly and helpful - even picked up a newspaoer for us.View all reviews by frankieandrich
5 tiered hard standing pitches with EHU and water tap to each pitch. Stunning location by the lake which is a lovely walk around. Fishing avavilable at a cost. Plenty of refuse bins and CDP. Toilets and showers about a one minute walk away but are clean and functonal. Very friendly owner. Will return.View all reviews by allylee
