A well-maintained little site, overlooking open country but only 500 yards from the village centre and canal-side attractions. Stoke Bruerne, home to the Waterways Museum, is a picturesque village on the Grand Union canal in a beautiful area of South Northants. A busy little place, alive with colourful canal boats. Relax at one of the two pubs by the canal - both serve food - or try the Indian restaurant with takeaway service.

As other reviews, a nice CL. Nice helpful owners. You do need levellers, as finding a level place difficult. We also sunk a lot so wouldn't trust it with 3.5 ton motorhome in the wet. Having said that we had glorious weather.
Can recommend pub The Boat, good food.
Local shop 2 miles away.
We intended to cycle towpath southward, but only got 4 miles, very overgrown.

Nice small site. Near to road, but wasn't a problem. Great little one night stay. Owner friendly. Check field as some parts were boggy after rain. We were OK. Someone needs to get out and open gate. Nice spot near canal. No elec

I love this place! Weve stayed here about 6 times. Peaceful with lovely walks / cycling along the towpath. Well maintained. Close to the pub and Indian takeaways and the Canal Museum. £9 p/n.

Lovely well kept site. Very easy to find, next to a pub and canal. Very quiet, and plenty of room.

A last minute booking for 1 night on way to London. Not far off the M1 and easy to find. A lovely mown field with enough space for the 5 vans allowed. Next to a pub (we didn't try), we walked along the canal fir about 25 minutes then returned to the village on the other side of the canal and had a pint at the other pub in the village.. A very peaceful night definitely recommend at £9 per night

Only stayed 1 night but good site with easy access to adjacent Grand Union Canal, the 2 pubs & Indian restaurant/take away are 5 minutes walk away. Cycling/walking possible along the canal towpath. CDP & fresh water available, no toilet/shower facilities. £9 night when we stayed, will definitely use again. Site should be accessed from A508 & if using SatNav use post code NN12 7SD
