Excellent place to stay right on the beach. I would say room on beach for 10 vans, with more pitches on fields above. Water tap on gate to beach, and Elsan point further up. Alison provides fire pit, and supplies sack of wood for £5. Excellent host and woyld visit again.

Just stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer. Lovely site ,basic water and waste facilities but all that was needed. Fantastic b3ach and walks. Would definitely recommend it. Alison very welcoming.

Lovely beach side site down a farm track. Has black waste and fresh water (but says to boil for drinking?!?). Very quite and no light polution. Several fire pits and you can buy stick for your fire if you want.

As long as you come prepared as no electric or toilets/showers,This site is probably my fav the views are amazing and watching the children flying kites, riding bikes,and paddle boarding,brings back childhood memories,we had a great pitch at the back overlooking the bay,Get yourself well stocked up with food and drink and come and enjoy a very friendly site.

One of my favourite places! It's such a nice relaxed site with the best views. The bay is shallow so perfect with the kids.

Beautiful view, well laid out site. Paid on arrival at farm. Parking on beach and also available in field above so views from both areas. Water, waste, elsan, bins. Peaceful night and interesting beach. Short drive to Gatehouse of Fleet and Kirkcudbright. Would definitely recommend.

This was the highlight of our little tour of the SWC300 We had a beachfront pitch and it was just perfect. Its £15 a night no EHU or toilet/shower facilities but there’s water and elsan. We only did one night but we would definitely like to go back again for a longer stay.

So happy to have visited here. We parked down by the beach after taking on water at one of two water points, noted the chemical disposal at the top of the site, was a septic tank so green toilet fluid essential. Not sure if the water tap here was suitable for drinking, but no note to say not. The other water tap is near the beach, it recommended boiling it before drinking. No bins so disposal of rubbish could be a problem. Once the tide had come in, it made a lovely lagoon and there was chance to swim in the sea, warmed by the sun soaked sandy beach. Beautiful ❤️

Fantastic spot, great views, enjoyed swimming and kayaking when tide was in. We will return, this is one of our favourites!
