Gorgeous little spot. Very peaceful & quiet. Very large plot of land giving lots of individual space for each pitch - spots both in trees and in the sun. Lovely views but still sheltered. Pauline the owner is very helpful and informative. Pubs only a mile away both ways plus local villages with shops etc. Fantastic walking and cycling sttaight ftom the site. We will be back.

What a crackling little find. true camping in the sticks this place with magnificent views and solitude to relax. Great walking from the site and only a short walk into the lovely village of Tideswell; shop, 2 pubs, 2 chippies, a bistro and a few cafes. Pauline and her Dad are great hosts and very friendly and helpful. don't miss out on this lovely site, give it a try. elsan and water only.

What lovely little hideaway CL, with superb far reaching views. A very warm welcome from both Peter and daughter Pauline Salt. As in the name they are the salt of the earth, checked on us each day, gave us good info. Our stay of 3 days was bliss, too short, but we shall just have to return. At £8 per night is damn good value

Great site. 2 gravel pitches but grass solid even after lots of rain. Owner lovely and so helpful with information about local walks and bike rides. Water and chemical disposal easily available. We didn’t need toilet or shower as in MH which was good as there wasnt any. Beautiful, quite site. 1 mile of easy walking to a very nice nice pub ( The Anchor) which had great food, beer and staff. Tideswell Village/ Town another 1/2 mile away with Coop, pubs, bakery and fish and chips. Best £7 weve ever spent on a CL site. Thanks Peter ( Owner) .

Quiet rural location 1 mile from pub 2 miles from village. Narrow single track lane from main road. No facilities but nice scenery, walks and bike rides nearby. Field is quite uneven- levellers needed.

What a delightful site! The most basic of facilities but the most beautiful setting....and for only £7. What’s not to love. Peaceful, scenic and with walking, biking and plenty of pubs nearby too. At best there is one hard standing (gravel) with the other pitches being grass. I say pitches, it’s a find wherever you like sort of place. Lumby and uneven but we’re on grass after the worst weeks of weather for a long long time it’s solid.
