The road leading to the site is very industrialised but don’t worry, the site is beautiful, green and right on the waterfront. €19/night low season with ACSI card plus 20c/person tourist tax. Shipping channel runs right by in front of your window, amazing.! Friendly and helpful staff, buy your ferry tickets for Venice at the reception desk. €26 for a day return. Excellent place to stay when visiting Venice. Downside - tepid shower water.View all reviews by mobie15

Stayed here on the recommendation of someone we met on the road. Acsi site so bargain price in October. Great views directly on to the lagoon with Venice in the distance.View all reviews by julesey
Pool was closed but shop, bar and pizza restaurant all open. We used the laundry facilities - quite expensive at 8 euros to wash and dry per load. Staff all very helpful and speak good English.
We bought a combined ferry/water taxi pass for 26 euros. Lasts 24 hours, so we can use it again in the morning to go across. We will just need to buy a single on the ferry coming back.
Stayed at this site twice and found it to be well worth the visit. A ferry to the City from right outside the site entrance, makes visiting Venice very easy.View all reviews by taffafloat
The site is also near the ANEK ferry terminal for ferries to Greece and Croatia.
The site is well laid out with room around the pitches for table and chairs to be put outside the van, to enable alfresco eating. Lots of showers and toilets around the site, and excellent laundry facilities. A shop, bar and restaurant are also on site.
Great camping ground, very easy to reach the magnificent Piaza San Marco by public transportation- Vaporeto aboud 20 Min. Great restaurant with fresh home made pizza. Facilities are clean and and neat, newly renovated. Grounds covered with shaded grass. Breath taking view of the great city Venice.View all reviews by elyahuf
Was advised to use tis location for visiting Venice by an Italian on a previous site so decided to give it a go.View all reviews by admin
There are number of pitches that have uninteruppted views across the bay and we picked one of those, and although there were a lot of flying insects, these were being kept under control by industrial sized fly sprays being driven around the site at regular intervals.
There are lots of facilities on site except for a pool.
Electric is just 6 amp and long leads may be required depending on where you park.
Didn't book in advance, just turned up and there was plenty of space (even in August)
The site is right on the bay opposite to Venice and there is a regular ferry into the town. Leaves on the hour every hour and returns every hour at half past. Last ferry back is 10:30pm.
If visiting Venice (and why wouldn't you?) allow plenty of time to get back to the ferry departure point as it is very easy to get lost in the town as all the streets look the same!
Sat nav couldnt decide which way to go but the site is well signposted and advise you follow the signs as there are a number of small lanes on the approach.
